Aw he doesn't look well does he, that's not just eye bags that is general tiredness. He looks very uncomfortable in a crowd.

He will never not look like a blonde Rupert Grint to me. I don’t get it but at least slap some eye gels on when going to a fashion show/event.

And yeah I can’t see her performing London Boy unless she’s on to her next Brit by the time she’s in the UK. Though even then likely not.

Sorry only just catching up on the thread now but I will die on that hill with you! I also think Question…? Is about Matty.

I want to like it because I can see what she was trying to do, but I find LWYMMD so cringe. The chorus just falls sooo unbelievably flat for me!

I believe Taylor and Matty definitely dated around 1989 era but she wouldn’t have been allowed to be public with it because she had her clean girl image and he obviously didn’t fit that. I think this time around because he’s selling out arenas and there is a cross over in their fandom they thought that we would be accepting of it.
Although I do also still think this could have all been PR for Slut! Ft 1975 but it didn’t go how the expected so was pulled.
 
I like the fact London Boy is a cringe, I take it as more tongue in cheek and that she knows it’s cringe if you know what I mean?

I mean there’s no way Joe heard that song and felt it was serious and wasn’t like mate… English people are gonna find a lot of this very cringe haha.

But then I also am a welcome to New York fan gal and i honestly get too excited when it comes on, doing the little claps brings me a crazy amount of joy 😂 when people were begging for it not to their surprise song I was shook

I think this too. I think them both mouthing the same "this song is about you...I love you" schtick on stage was designed to goad us into speculating about a possible relationship. I thought at the time that it was leading to some sort of point about how easy it is for false info to spread, and now I think releasing "Slut!" as a single would have been part of that.

Not saying they didn't hook up, I don't have an opinion on that either way. I just think they were making it so public for a reason, but they cancelled whatever the plan was because of people focussing so much on all the dodgy stuff Matty has said and done over the years.

...or it was just a brief fling and I need to take my tinfoil hat off 😂

Girly was totally dickmatised AND she desperately wanted Joe to see.

She has zero chill as soon as she gets into relationships (see Tom Hiddleston and buying a house near Connor Kennedy’s family). She would have been at the Chiefs games within a week of Travis but they weren’t playing in July.

I do agree with the adding lyrics later but with ‘duck the patriarchy’ she’s not saying it, she’s saying that Jake has a keychain with the words ‘duck the patriarchy’ printed on it. A lot of people (not saying you have!!) seem to miss this bc they’re hyped to hear Taylor saying ‘f the patriarchy’ but it’s a really smart detail in the song that I love! It showcases Jake for even more of a fake woke douchebag lol
