I do strongly think 1989 is next with it coming in to summer and people wanted it as a summer release last year (hot girl summer turned in to sad girl autumn). The delay with announcement (5 months since Red was released already) likely due to the court case and maybe she has a resolution coming to that. That’s just my 2 cents on it.

Have you seen the full trailer for Conversations with Friends? As an accent magnet nordie who used to live in Dublin (a million years ago) and who works with several dubs, I can't decide if Joe's D4 accent is brilliant or wrong? Notably he doesn't speak much in the trailer. His voice is so deep it's hard to tell.
 
So Billie Eilish brought Damon Albarn out o stage during her Coachella set. That's just disrespectful to Taylor imo. It's like saying he was right, which he wasn't, especially considering she writes with her fecking brother.

Worse though was Finneas is overheard saying "we're gonna get used by Taylor Swift tomorrow" or words to that affect. What a pompous asshole. Misogyny wins yet again.

The really annoying thing is that Damon only really considers Billie more credible because she's less mainstream than say 1989 was (which in itself is hypocritical because he was responsible for parklife, boys and girls etc etc) and she's much less attractive than Taylor. Women can be either credible or beautiful. Never both.

I think Billie and Taylor are both very attractive and talented. It doesn't have to be one or the other. Both women work very hard at what they do, in such a male dominated world. I certainly admire them both.

While I agree that Billie probably should have thought a lot more about bringing him out on stage after his comments and how it would look, I'm not sure she would have done it on purpose. From what I've seen, she just genuinely really admires him and his music. I'd love to know whose idea it was though.

I've never liked Finneas. He comes across as extremely arrogant and up himself.

It’s a weird comment for Finneas to make I think as he seems to be quite friendly with Taylor - attended her 30th and 32nd birthday parties

Billie is attractive, but her aesthetic until recently has been alternative and odd looking (neon green and black hair for example with oversized clothing) rather than traditionally beautiful. Taylor has always, even at her scruffiest, been utterly gorgeous and classy looking.

I don't believe Billie is that naive or innocent to realise bringing him on stage was kinda flipping the bird to Taylor. It's a bit misogynistic to imply Finneas realised it was dodgy but she didn't. I also don't recall seeing any public comment from her at the time it all kicked off.

I don't know what her dress sense has to do with anything. Billie has a killer figure, and an absolutely stunning face. Her eyes are incredible. They're both beautiful regardless of what they wear. Taylor isn't just more beautiful because you don't find Billie's aesthetic attractive.

Maybe Billie cleared it with Taylor beforehand? Maybe Finneas was making jokes if he and Taylor are friends? I certainly haven't implied that he knew it would look bad. I just said I didn't like him. Maybe it all had nothing to do with Taylor at all.

Instead she keeps her mouth shut, is seen wearing a Gorillaz t-shirt and then invites the prick to sing 2 songs with her at Coachella. Meanwhile, Finneas is overheard making a gaslighty joke at Taylor's expense, implying she's some crazy person who is going to overreact to this. Nah. Not on.

Okay, so maybe I'm not as worked up about this as you because to me it was never believable that Billie writes her own songs and Taylor doesn't. It's common knowledge that Taylor writes or co-writes her songs as much as its common knowledge that Billie co-writes with Finneas. The vast majority of people would have read those comments and dismissed them because they are obviously a load of crap. Now, whether he actually said it and believes it or whether it was taken out of context is the important part but I doubt we'll ever know.

Billie gets a HUGE amount of crap in the music world. For years she's been told she's a fake, untalented, that she'd be nothing without Finneas and that she's unattractive because she doesn't want to wear the clothes that the other women wear. She's been told she's faked her depression and given a tonne of shit. There's been misogynistic comments and attitudes cast at both of them simply because they are both talented, beautiful women who do their own thing in a male dominated industry.

I admire Billie for actually keeping her mouth shut about a lot of the comments and shit that goes on. I am sick of celebs sticking their nose in and adding their 2cent to everything. Billie didn't need to say anything because Taylor is more than capable of standing up for herself, which she did. Billie is clearly a fan of Damon's and she shouldn't have to never associate with him because of one comment in one article that may or may not have been completely misconstrued just because it may upset Taylor. I wouldn't think Taylor would be that sensitive about it either.

But you're clearly offended by it and that's your right I suppose. Agree to disagree.
