the joker and the queen is boring as hell and spotify hasn't got the lyrics synced correctly
i quite like it but I’m not the biggest fan of Ed so it’s certainly not my favourite , sweet lyrics .. nice to get Taylor on a love song ! Can imagine this could work as a first dance for a lot of peoplethe joker and the queen is boring as hell and spotify hasn't got the lyrics synced correctly
you can tell it was written with Ed’s input , it is sadly a bit dull like quite a lot of his music .. all his love songs sound the same to me !Probably the first and last time I’ll listen to that song, the cards metaphor was a bit boring for me
Agreed. It's boring. Sweet though. And an ear worm (been humming it all day).the joker and the queen is boring as hell and spotify hasn't got the lyrics synced correctly
Agree. End Game too and I’m not a reputation fan.Her voice when she says 'I've been played before', her lower range is perfection.
The song feels like a snooze though. Both Run and Everything Has Changed were better.
Reputation (Taylor's version) is gonna be amazing. It's the album I'm most looking forward to.Agree. End Game too and I’m not a reputation fan.

Which album are the vault tracks from post 1989 to the 2016 hiatus going to go on? Has to be rep. She'll not release any love songs obviously for Calvin though.
She wrote it, Zayn didn't. She could rerecord with someone else? Dunno if she would want to publicly snub him either though.I wonder if I don’t wanna live forever will be in it. Not sure if she’d want to work with zayn though after the Gigi stuff. I don’t know if that song is big machine though
Sorry if this has been discussed before, but do we believe she recorded an album between 1989 and reputation? I know there's a theory it was called Karma but not entirely sure where the whole thing started.
I wonder this about both Safe and Sound and Eyes Open — I would love for them to find a home on Speak Now but they weren’t under Big Machine either. Eyes Open is in my top 3 Taylor songs ever though.I wonder if I don’t wanna live forever will be in it. Not sure if she’d want to work with zayn though after the Gigi stuff. I think this theory began with her cutting the wing off the plane in the LWYMMD video, I believe it may have had TS6 spray painted on it? This then went further in the music video for The Man, in the scene where all the albums are spray painted on the wall, right in the middle is ‘Karma’. I don’t know if I 100% believe it but I do always think there are some songs that are similar between each album, like they bridge to each other and I don’t get that with 1989 to reputation.Sorry if this has been discussed before, but do we believe she recorded an album between 1989 and reputation? Speaking of…does anyone know what that part symbolised? Never really got it. I know some people said is cos her plane used to get tracked by fans but I doubt she’d call her fans out like thatcutting the wing off the plane in the LWYMMD video
She released 30+ new songs in 2020 alone. Admittedly she was particularly inspired and worked well with Aaron, but still.
The title karma doesn't make sense before the whole kanye episode. Afterwards, it makes sense, definitely. So I think it had a different title, but there has to be at least 10 songs. There aren't really any tracks that stand out as not 'belonging' on Rep, so I think all were written after her cancellation, although admittedly lyrics could have been reworded. Dancing with our hands tied maybe at a push.

Just my opinion but as she sprays "reputation" on it I think it was that she had an album/album concept ready for "take off" but after the drama changed her mind on the album so abandoned it (cut its wings off so it couldn't be released to fly) and started again with reputation. Hence the spraying.Speaking of…does anyone know what that part symbolised? Never really got it.
