Ugh. Adulting. Buy yourself a treat at the store! I used to like grocery shopping. It's not fun anymore since prices got so ridiculous. Oh, and all the load cart, unload cart, load cart, unload to trunk, load arms, unload to house, put away big load of groceries. And repeat every week for life. 🤣
I'm getting a haircut today. I go like, 3 times a year. I want to go short but I'm terrified they'll pull a Karen hairstyle on me because I'm 53.
 
LOL! Fun times!! The other day a cashier asked if I wanted the seniors discount. I felt like I'd been sucker punched! 🤣 Damn, that one hurt a little.
I gotta share the funniest video. It's a clip that makes me laugh every single time. It's not faked either, you can tell by the ending 🤣 Laughter is much needed lately, I think.
 
Hey lovely tt’s!! Just wanted to hop on and update you to say I finally managed to go into my daughters bedroom today and start sorting through all her stuff so I can paint it and make it a nice new space for her when she comes home from hospital. It felt like a real “f*** you” to the ptsd and trauma I have been experiencing and I felt like superwoman 🥰

@SaltandPepperChicken , I'd love to hear more about this training--are there any sources or syllabi you can share? The managers at my workplace could use this sort of training!!! 😆
 
It was on LinkedIn Learning which we get a subscription to via work. It was actually really interesting and while I think I am good at listening and communicating at work it definitely taught me some things.
