I thought The Talk was supposed to be Sharon Osborne's show on Talk TV?
After initially appearing on the show five nights a week; Since she went back to the U.S, when Ozzie had covid, she only does three shows a week now.
She also doesn't seem to be the anchor of the show. All the guests present a segment of the discussion. Sitting at one end of the table also doesn't really highlight her status as the supposed anchor.
She should be sitting in the middle of that table, between the four guests and opening the topics that are being discussed.
I personally don't think she will last on The Talk.
On paper, one would think she was supposed to be the anchor but it's probably for the best that someone else does the introductions to topics because she's pretty bad at the pieces to camera, even the ones that only last 10 seconds. Pretty much everyone else who appears on there can manage much better.
She's not been on since last Wednesday, 4 shows in a row that she's been missing now. I agree with you that she won't last. As far as I'm concerned, it's not really her show but more that she was hired to sit on the end of the panel because people will recognise her in the hopes that people will watch. Sadly it doesn't seem to have worked for them in terms of attracting viewers, probably because her heyday on TV was 15 years ago.
Quite a feisty argument tonight between Julia HB & Ayesha Hazarika regarding Rwanda. Probably the first time I've seen a proper clash on the show.
