TV channel on Sky and Virgin has now bitten the dust

Just a rotating info screen on how to watch now.

Surprised they didn't keep a Sky presence on the Radio section. Although I expect Sky charges a fortune for that privilege.

On my smart TV talk was on 237 or something and now when you go to the channel you press the red button and it takes you talk where you can watch the shows.

I agree, she was brilliant with her questioning the Leeds student girl re the protests that have now started in this Country. I think when she was with Kev, he liked to be the dominant presenter.

I don't know why they were put together anyway.
They just shouted over each other way too much and when they had a guest trying to speak as well, their show became unlistenable.

Much better with their own shows.
 
Was great to also have Cristo on drive today. I wish he got given Friday drive permanently. Cardwell is a nice chap and does a decent Saturday show, but he needs to decide whether he's the political correspondent or a full-time presenter. He's on a little bit too much for me. Same thing with Ben Kentish over at LBC.

Agreed! Cardi P overload, he is so greige 😩 even down to his complexion.

Loopy Lois is on tonight with Andre. Torture. They need to sort out the weekend shows starting with binning The Woke That Was and getting rid of her.

Weekends do need work. Definitely keep Bull on breakfast, and would let Cardi-P keep either Saturday or Sunday mornings, the other one can go to someone else, maybe Russell Quirk who has done his share of fill-in shows?

Nick de Bois appears permanent on afternoons now, should keep him. Trisha absolutely should be gone, give Cristo her 4pm slots as well as Friday drive. Andre can stay on Friday/Saturday lates but please no Lois or Danielle. And let James Whale stick around as long as he can.

Sunday evenings - I've heard Mark Saggers does a decent show, but it's a current affairs station, they really ought to move that one to talkSPORT. So I'd replace him with an extra solo Andre show. Would be curious about Howard Hughes' RAJARs, his show is starting to feel out of place in the current era of Talk with more hard-hitting content and going digital. I'm surprised he has survived this long, as all other shows like his from the very early days of talkRADIO have been long axed.

Not sure about early breakfast, just find whoever they can for that one. Any additional daytime gaps can maybe be filled by an additional Alex Phillips show.
 
It's saying go to channel 296 or something but no A/V signal on listed channel.
Even rescanned channels on TV but no joy.
I've got a newish Sony Bravia and bog standard freeview.
If it's app based I'll give it a swerve tbh.

Same here, RC. No audio on 296 which I assume will be a radio rather than a TV feed.

If it's a smart TV YouTube will be on it. If there is no button for you tube on your remote then press the button that takes you to the internet channels and the app will be there.
