Listened to Mike.
He was on good form.
I like him on early better than in the old 10am slot, too.
So I'm happy.
Will try and listen to Kev later. Hope he's going to stop the OTT Mister Angry act now and get Ally Ross back on.
 
I thought the TV channel was being pulled last night.

Surprised to switch onto Talk TV today and to still see it broadcasting on Sky channel 522.

The camera work isn't as professional as it previously was. Some very weird camera angles of Mike G this morning!

I hated it.

They clearly intended it for Sharon Osbourne because her pic was used everywhere when they launched it.
Then when she buggered off to look after Ozzy and hardly ever appeared on the show, it was just a bit of airtime to fill, so they shoved the panelists who dont have their own show into it - Daisy McAndrew, Penny Smith, JJ Anisiobi etc
I hated it.

Hope its gone. And hope Daisy, Penny, JJ and those other two women who were always on have disappeared with it.

Appears the channel is being removed from linear TV tomorrow evening. The TV guide shows Kevin O'Sullivan at 7pm, then 'programmes no longer available' thereafter.

I didn't mind JJ to be honest. He was a more common sense lefty.
 
I do feel a bit sorry for JJ that he was totally thrown out as he was involved with TalkRadio for a while prior to the TalkTV experiment, I remember him doing showbiz items on Kevin's show. But he did seem to lose it, and I can understand bosses wanting a clear out of anyone they thought would put off listeners. And he was really bad last week - I don't personally like Angela Levin's doddery ramblings and always switch off when she comes on, but he went to James Whale levels on her.
 
Petrie Hosken has now been promoted to 10pm to 1am during the week.

Petrie was demoted during Talk TV, only given an hour a night at midnight.
 
Thoroughly enjoyed the daytime schedule today. Great to have Ian Collins back for a 3 hour show. So nice to have plenty of callers today and much less of the panelists who just all talked over each other.

Isnt JJ big mates with Matthew Wright?
Maybe he will give him some work at LBC.

Yeah, the panel has gone. I only watched because I find Esther Krakue attractive. Yes, I'am THAT shallow. Obviously I had the sound down. Vanessa's show is gone too, I thought they may have kept it going just with another host.

I watched most of Kev's show last night hoping he would have binned the Mister Angry schtick he's been employing.
Sadly, he is still being OTT with it.

Vanessa's show was made for TV, none of the TV stuff is fit for radio hence why it's all been dropped. Except for a couple of the long-term stuff like Plank of the Week which stays on YouTube.

I love him but his mister angry act gets on my wick. As does his constant, 'er' before every sentence.

I cut him loads of slack when he first did his own show because he's not been a broadcaster before but he's still not very slick and he says, 'er' so many times, I now affectionately call him Kevin Er'Sullivan.

Top bloke though.


And glad Cristo is still hanging in there even if he's still on at stupid o'clock.
He's so naughty.
 
I do think Kev's exasperation and outrage on various topics is real 🤷‍♀️
But I don't think it lasts after his show. I don't think any presenters bother with current affairs off air. Though Andre Walker mentioned he spends time at Westminster.
