I know you ‘think’ your opinion is the be all and end all, but it is possible for you to have a rigid, preachy, supercilious opinion, and for others to disagree legitimately. You have three kids. You think (like a lot of us did) that having three small kids is as hard as it’s going to get. It is hard. And I feel your pain. I’ve been there. 3 kids under the age of 4 is not for the faint hearted. Yes, and one neurodiverse. You e got Beg on hand most of the time. Try doing it with a partner who leaves the house at 7am and often doesn’t get back till 8/9. But it gets really hard for different reasons later on. So kindly climb off your Poundland soap box, and just get on with whatever you were doing, quietly. Thanks.

I am a single parent with two kids with ASD. Looking back it was so much easier when they were younger. I could pick them up and protect them. The puberty years are brutal for kids with ASD. So much harder now they are bigger than me and trying to hurt themselves. She has no idea.

I just can’t work her out. There’s also a family photo with no faces obscured, on her grid, from their recent holiday. I know she’ll have some snarky justification for that, but it makes no sense. You’re either concerned about safety or you’re not.

The ignorance around her own privilege is beyond cringe. She’s so bloody fortunate to have that support and those resources. And to sit there in her car preaching as the authority on parenting three kids is just audacious
And then giving an A* to the other privileged white, wealthy women who agree with her… but don’t you dare tell her that teenagers are hard work. This is Susie’s echo chamber and no one is to have a different opinion

How the hell are they going to avoid 3 kids in private school ? No chance Suz is getting a job so Beg will be full on Beg mode and looking for any reality TV left that hasn’t already had him.

Middle one won’t go. He’ll get more support in state system or they’ll get a state funded specialist school (which will be a fight but I’m sure beggy sue is up for it and she can monetise that). Eldest might be in on a sports scholarship (if he’s that good at football) but it would be unusual to get more than 15% off the fees.

So that leaves the little one!

Pressures on Beg!

I don’t know how these ‘celebs’ do it. A certain ballroom dancer lives near me. He’s got a house in Mallorca and a house here. Recently put both kids in local prep school despite owing thousands in tax and covid loans (all on companies house and his company is in liquidation). He’s downsized his house here, but they are both still living the lifestyle, shopping in waitrose, holidays etc even though he’s not on strictly anymore, and the yearly cringeworthy dance tours have dried up so he’s been doing the reality circuit. The wife is a bit of a Susan. Never had a proper job (was a ‘model’)and hung around F1 circuit trying to bag a driver. Too bad she ended up with a z lister! She’s now retrained in landscape gardening but I’m not sure she’s actually doing this as a job! She very much considers herself the authority on many things but is not as vocal on social media as our Susan.
