Survivor UK 2023 BBC One

A few things don't make sense with this show 😅 In the last but one ep why did the two girls feel they had to vote for each other if they didn't want to? They could have put anyones name down and it wouldn't have affected the vote. And why do they all worry about the person finding out they voted for them? It's obviously anonymous!
Also, both Doug and Ren know about the immunity thing but Doug actually has it now so does that mean only he can use it?

It's silly that they don't do the intro, that's one of the best parts of the show! No doubt it's out of fear of not wanting to offend 🙄

The British host isn't very good, he'd be more suited to hosting an eSports event.

He normally hosts Masked Singer U.K. and is a previous contestant on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here !

Joel Dommet is the wrong host for this. The original ITV version had Mark Austin, the newsreader.
Yes, his permanent grimace/smile is off-putting when he’s evicting someone from the island. You need someone a little more serious.

I’m quite enjoying this.

Lee seems like a knob. If I remember correctly it was his ‘tactics’ that lost them the challenge.

I’m not sure if I like any of them Laurence seems intriguing sort of find him strangely attractive.

I give him slight benefit of the doubt as he is clearly being edited that way, to be the villain. But I hope he is humbled after not performing well in last week's physical task

It's quite a lackluster version.

The Australians do survivor the best these days. Now that's a good show - on the first challenge for this year people had to flip themselves over a huge block and land on their back. Two didn't commit to flipping over so ended up with their necks crunched on the floor and in hospital.

It's strange the BBC pays for the rights, change the winning formula (created by a Brit) and plonks on a not very good host. Why bother if it's half hearted?

What happened there?
Couldn't tell who was responsible but he's more bothered about the tooth than the injury he caused her!

Why did nobody say anything when Joel blew Leilani's cover at the challenge by saying she had been voted to leave? I thought that was gonna cause drama but then everyone acted like it was the first time they'd heard it when Leilani confessed. This show is so shoddily put together 😅. Still no idea what the point is of somebody switching teams. Is she gonna go back at some point??
Also no idea why they got rid of Rachel when Jess is so much weaker

So the bedding they got, got soaked for the team with the leaky roof? Nothing is being mentioned about daily food, what do they now get portion wise and where from?

Those that hasn't seen the extra episode
A few of them did seem to be wearing new black t-shirts too this evening so what's the deal with clothing after they tried to wash a few bits in a pan lol

Just a few unanswered questions starting to pop up for me

Same when they asked about the fish thing and they realised Ren brought back a smaller fish than the other camp.

It’s annoying how they’re playing the personal background videos of the person who gets voted out at the end of the episode. Spoiler.
