Hate to be that guy but Ty isn’t that into Ella, never has been. It was written on the wall when he pretended (or worse - didn’t) that he didn’t recognise her after he’d already met her.

and Ella is doing herself a big disservice by skulking around, looking like her happiness is dependent on Tyrique’s approval of her. The bad vibes are not attractive or nice to watch - let alone be around - so the best thing she could possibly do is try to not care about the outcome. Just focus on having fun and what happens happens.
