I suppose Gerri could be seen as not on Logan’s side now? General counsel is meant to act in the best interest of the company, not the CEO, and the company is almost sold. Upcoming episodes potential spoiler a lot of the cast were spotted in Norway - Shiv, Kendall, Roman, Frank, Hugo, Greg and Tom AND GERRI! Woo wasn’t Gerri threatening Roman in the trailer for s4?

Love love LOVE the show! The husband and I were mithering about Shiv’s wardrobe, and I had also put forward the theory that it’s deliberate that she’s always slightly uncomfortable looking, to reflect how she feels about herself, and that she’s trying to be someone she doesn’t really think she is... He Pooh-poohed me, but having read here, I now think I’m right!

I am also listening to the accompanying podcast “HBO‘s succession” which I highly recommend. Plonking myself on this thread now I’ve found it. Roll on tomorrow!

Omg yes! I remember reading this article that says similar!

I remember reading an article saying exactly that about Shiv’s wardrobe - she was herself in S1 more comfortable, then converted to a corporate girlie

the use of wardrobe/clothing on this show is 👏🏻

there’s a great tiktok which breaks down the evolution of tom’s wardrobe too - he starts series one incredibly put together and almost over the top in how perfect his suits are (with little pocket squares etc) because he’s trying to fit in and failing, compared to his style now. someone did a whole twitter thread with how his choice of watches shows this too.

i always liked how shiv’s clothes seemed more her in series one, when she was doing a job she actively seemed to enjoy, compared to series two onwards (or post haircut) when she’s in business wear and dresses that never quite fit her.

I feel sick with anticipation for the next episode, I'm getting up early so I can watch it before work. I'm well and truly on the hype train 😂

I second that we need more Gerri and Roman scenes. I adore this picture, they have amazing chemistry.

Anyone else seeing the allegations against Nicholas Braun? Started with a girl claiming that he tried to hook up with her at Coachella 10 years ago - he was 25 and she was 16 and he knew her age. The girl then says Nicholas went on to sleep with another member of the group, also 16, and knew her age. Now there are a few other allegations of very underage girls sleeping with him

I saw it. It was also cross posted on a few subreddits with quite different reactions. The overall sentiment on the Succession sub was more defending Nicholas Braun whereas on the other pop culture subs, they were applauding the lady for calling out his predatory behaviour.

I’m waiting for some mainstream press to pick this up.

was reading about it earlier :( - it might be worth posting this on the celeb gossip thread though as i think this one is purely for discussion of the show itself!

Apologies - will post on there!

I'm fully on board the "Shiv's pregnant" theory, lots of shots of her drinking only water.

Who was in the black car towards the end of the episode? The one that Ken/Roman wave at?

I think Karl and Frank?

I hope Shiv isn’t pregnant, in the promo it looks like she gets cosy with Mattson

I don’t even know where to start…. duck. That was so powerful. SPOILERS AHEAD

what really hit me was how true to life it is… one minute you’re talking and the next minute you can be dead. How the show showed the death made it so much more powerful. I feel like I’m in shock myself even though it’s only a tv show.

it also so perfectly showed what the time directly after the death of a family member is like - and that he was alone, on a plane, away from family, was somehow so fitting.

my heart broke for connor. i was just like: someone go and get connor! someone tell connor! always forgotten about :( and then “he never even liked me”. and when they did tell him he hugged them all individually :( he is the best father figure they ever had and they treat him so poorly.

one of the best episodes of tv i think i have ever seen. god damn.
