The professional dances part is recorded in the summer, so won’t clash with Kai having a new partner for the next series.

Really?!?! I don't see a statement anywhere.

Thats odd doing a showdance on tour when no one will have seen it prior?!? Thats even if she can do the tour at all.

I honestly cant see her dancing in the launch show next year; imagine it:

Tess: ''Now ladies and gentleman you've seen last years winners Rose and Giovanni do their winners couples choice dance its now time to see the finalists from last year who had to pull out, Aj and Kai's showdance that no-one got to see; they were finalists regardless and had a lot of great dances to look back on but we've asked them back to anyway to please the AJ and Kai fans as we only normally have the winner from last year performing.''

Yeah I don't see it.

Take a shot everytime someone says Gio loves her/he's totally smitten...or anytime someone says they're like siblings??

Bill wasn't necessarily an obvious winner but personally I had a feeling he’d be a dark horse. He was very popular (more than the two kids and Jamie) and had great musicality so when he won I wasn’t surprised.

I’m a huge fan of Bill and have seen him live many times, so I was a tad biased, but just got that star quality straightaway and knew Oti would work her magic. This year I picked Rose, John and AJ as finalists in week 1, so I’m doing pretty well. Not been wrong for 10 years.

It really was - they said they look forward to seeing them back to dance in the next series. As in a one off appearance. Can easily take the place of one of the pro dances. Craig confirmed about the showdance on tour on Radio 2 this morning. I’d love to see it ( going to the London show)

Thank god we're at least spared the rabid AKai shippers going "oh my god, his left nostril twitched when he looked at her, that means they're going to get married instantly as soon as the show finishes!" But yes, I am not here for any Rose and Gio shipping. It's actually a bit gross to me.

What's everybody drinking tonight? I have rosé in honour of Rose but should really have something in honour of John too. I guess gin sounds like John?

Craig confirmed on the radio today one of AJs tour dances will be the Showdance. I think it's a great idea to have a brand new dance that no one has seen on tour.
I know one of the producers spoke directly to the press yesterday about AJ maybe the statement was part of that chat?

I've just poured a rather large red wine, and have the Bailey's chilling for later!
Thai food on order... Will hopefully be delivered before the show starts 🤞

No Vowels Man 😂 I thought he was alright until he started the "I've never even heard of a tango even though I can spin like a pro" spiel, and then I was like get in the sea :LOL: With Bill there was a bit of a novelty factor, like that's actual Bill Bailey prancing about on the Strictly dance floor, and he's not half bad 😁
