Let’s hope Kai doesn’t become all pecs and posturing now that he’s teaching with Gio

Is this not really just a glorified meet and greet, a few hours on a Sunday afternoon doesn't feel like much time to empart a decent amount of knowledge/technique/advice to a large group of people?

That always really stuck out to me when you realise all the other pros have known each other for many years some like Katya and Luba have been great friends from childhood others formed friendships in young adult hood via meeting at comps or doing shows together.
And many of those Pros went on to have significantly more success in competitions compared to him.
He says it like it's a flaw of the dancing world when really it's just a flaw in him.

I just cracked up laughing at this one too, and the fact Nadiya chose to use that as the first photo.
 
The thing with Ballando is Gio really needs the support of present and former strictly pros to make it a success because otherwise it will just be him, I can see him getting bored of just teaching all the time. But, he has shafted Pasquale then I can not imagine many of the pros wanting to get involved. Also if proved his behaviour was in appropriate towards a number of his dance partners are the BBC going to want their current pros and judges carrying on with that connection with him.

Pasquale has way more trophies than him anyway! ( 5 times dwts champion in a row). As well as being almost like a brother to Vito he’s been friends with Kai for many many years too ( Burn the floor , DWTS Ireland), so I hope it doesn’t mess that up.

Looks like he’s going to be rotating people like Anton, Shirley and Kai in and out maybe with others still vaguely ok with him (Lauren, Gorka, Motsi)?

*bangs table* Let’s get those Pasquale/Vito Tiktoks back!
 
I feel for Pasquale, hopefully his new projects go well! He still follows Gio and Ballando so maybe it was a scheduling thing although knowing Gio it’s unlikely.

I reckon he’ll drag Gorka and Lauren in at some point. Motsi I don’t think would be interested. Possibly Nadiya?
 
To be honest, I have to side-eye anyone who is still buddies with Gio. Doesn't surprise me one bit that Shirley seems to still like him (based on the way she acts, I don't think I'd view her as a good character reference), but I'd be disappointed if the likes of Kai & Gorka got involved. Lauren & Anton are obviously slightly different circumstances, but hopefully they cut ties once this tour is up.
