For all the joking about Michael Gove I would have to switch off. I would rather his lookalike spitting kids tv puppet than him.

Sorry to be boring, but I've had enough of movies+musicals. Merge both and bring in a Decades Week.
Seen this on Digital Spy, wondered what peoples thoughts are. I think I'd be in favour of merging them and bringing in another speacial week, though decades probably wouldn't be my first choice. I'd like them to bring back the Waltz/Paso Doble/Lindy hop a thon but didn't that use to clash with musicals week?
 
I like Musicals week, though they could do with mixing up the musicals a bit more.

Movie Week I can take or leave.

Halloween Special needs to go.

Would be interesting to see one off theme weeks though. Some different themes.

And the athons should definitely come back, for the chaos on the dancefloor and the iPad chaos afterwards.

Today is Robert Powell's birthday and it got me thinking. Not about him, but what about his wife Beautiful Babs from Pans People???

She's 78 so might not be up for it. Cherrie from Legs and Co is 69 so she might be up for it.

Yes these women are ringers, but you get round it cos they're all the wrong side of 60. Plus the 'not trained in ballroom or Latin American dancing'

Better contestants like these rather than love islanders!!!

Tbf I think the age of them balances out any training. Angela Rippon would have blown everybody away if she had been 30 years younger.

I think Katya is the one pro who could rise to any challenge. Lauren and Jowita could potentially be an option.
