Do they usually sign up the pros at different times? It seems like Gio and Graz have known for weeks yet Jojo is still waiting for his call?

When Brendan and Chloe were let go, they both said in interviews that the pros find out in January. This was in 2018, so I guess it's probably still the case? The 'i haven't received the call yet' stuff is just because they can't confirm anything yet

They have to pretty much plan their whole year in advance around Strictly so it makes sense they find out early I guess
 
Someone else said Johannes said at his show he'd be back but in a different capacity, so he's probably just trying (and failing) to keep the embargo.

Nikita and Dianne are on Zoe Ball tomorrow to promote the pro tour. I imagine they'll give the standard 'we don't know' answer when asked if they are back.

Apparently Gemma 'let slip' that Gorka is back. No surprise. I don't think there will be any chances

I’m guessing they will make the announcement just before the start of the pro tour and also everyone on the pro tour will be back.

Yeah Gemma said on her stories the other day about having childcare in place in the autumn as they don't know where Gorka will be based. Although she's said similar things in the last few months so it's not really breaking news.

Apart from whatever is possibly happening with Jojo, it looks like everyone will be back doesn't it.

I know a few people would like to see a bit of an overhaul it's been 6 years since they didn't renew the contract of a long serving pro (Cameron doesn't really count) which I think shows they value the experience of those who have been there a long time - they know the job inside out, they have their fans, Strictly likes a certain amount of consistency, and keeping them on hasn't stopped new pros shining either.

I mean, if they were to get rid of anyone it would be Neil and the fact he is still there shows they still value his weird contribution to the show on some level
 
I expect everyone will be back, with it being 20 years of Strictly this year. Next year I think will be more interesting in terms of who stays and who goes.
(I'm assuming they're going to actually acknowledge that it's been 20 years, because they did bugger all for series 20. The fever dream that was the BBC 100 week has been blocked from my mind 😁)

God I hope if they do anything its a pro number with some of the old pros or like some of the old favourite celebs or something. None of this recreating dances shite or BBC 100 esque rubbish
 
The only reason we've had such a static lineup is because of the executive producer. Every other producer has made changes, clearly she's attached. Just got to hope that someone new is added.

I would like to see them do something interesting for the 20th anniversary. Perhaps have a special episode with past contestants and pros coming back to talk about their experiences, maybe a pro number.
 
I'm just glad that anti-royalists like me won't be subjected to fawning build-up for a week to Kai doing a couple of foxtrot steps with Camilla ( you know it would be him, no dirty foreigners, though I guess Jojo has now been rendered acceptable by Annabel). Meanwhile Gio is out the back trying to 'charm' Kate.

Someone on DS mentioned Jenny Eclair as a possible - apparently she's rescheduling tour dates and has expressed interest. I don't know much about her apart from she's been vaguely mooted for a while for the 'older woman' slot. When I looked her up, who did I find her with? get them both in!! #su4strictly

Well tonight's the nights - me and the old dear at Giovanni's Let Me Entertain You 💖💖💖

It's a FABULOUS show. He has made some remarks about not being able to keep up the fast dances anymore. But he has lost weight and is loking much more toned than he did lady year.

If its not raining, we'll hang about the stage door
