How long will the tour be? I guess that confirms he’s not coming back as a pro if it will run September-December

To be honest, most of the male pro’s were side eyed as being gay at that stage, Darren Bennet certainly was 😁 The tabloid speculati that Ian was responsible for Denies’s pregnancy were by and large treated with hoots of derision
 
Congrats to Johannes if that is the case. I guess he'd be on the bench/doing pro numbers and some guest dances while rehearsing. It feels like it is the right time for him. His tour is doing well (Annabel brought him a new Home Counties lady audience I think) and from here it's probably downhill to Antonville .
 
Regarding Johannes' partners, there is the element of them wanting to have a will they-won't they with a young, attractive celeb, but I don't think that's a huge limiting factor. The fact that he's a little older and also tall probably dictates who he gets a lot of the time. He's probably a little too old to get someone like Ellie Leach.

If Carlos is gay (let's be real, they're never realistically trying a showmance with him and his partners), then he's already had a good draw. As did Ian.

Ian made it to two consecutive finals: Zoe was easily the best dancer in her series, and Denise was excellent too, so I’d say he was within touching distance of a win on both occasions.

Matt was certainly not closeted when he danced with Alesha, and I don’t think there was ever any ambiguity from Ian regarding his sexuality either. The tabloids tried to try to stir up romance headlines, but they did that with every single couple (even Brendan & Claire King, who loathed each other).

I mean, he and Lilia have two kids and a marriage that spans several decades, and I’m still not fully convinced 😄

Katya’s likely too tall for him, she’s about 5’6 and he’s only 5’5. He’ll probably get Jowita, which I’d still be happy with considering she’s probably the best choreographer after Katya. Already thinking of the lifts and tricks!
Although knowing the producers they’ll give him to Dianne and he’ll be out in week 4 with an awful paso 🤣

I wonder if Oti will eventually end up back on Strictly in some capacity, she's had few shows cancelled now on ITV, probably DOI will be next.

Could see her doing it takes two, assuming she’s based in London it’d be easier for her rather than Janette having to travel down from Manchester. Depends if she pissed off the bbc by moving over to itv?
