The most recent one there is from 2016 so I do think a lot of it is down to length of time and plenty of people do put full dances on tiktok now which would reduce YouTube views. I don’t think the popularity is always down to the choreography (although I have rewatched Jays jive and Danny’s Samba lots). I had to look up Ashley and Ola’s dance (I didn’t even remember he was in it) and I’m sure Ola wearing very little with lots of shaking writhing probably bumped up the views. Same with Anita and Glen judging by this comment.

Gleb had a phase of putting in impressive stunts in his routines at Strictly, I think Anita's Samba was one of those dances. In many ways, I think he was kinda the proto-Nikita as far as inventive choreo goes.
 
The editing on CBB was truly hot garbage. I've watched two episodes of I'm a Celeb and I already know more about most of the celebs than I learnt about anyone in CBB in the whole series.

For anyone interested in Tristan, he hasn't had a lot of screentime yet, but still almost as much as Nikita had in the whole series. He's done alright at the challenges so far. I'm surprised he's able to do the show with his heart problems, but I guess he must be OK. Handled them trying to drown him quite well. 😂

He's done some dance classes in camp - taught some Jive and Cha Cha to a couple of other celebs.

He talked about being from a town that was very traditional and full of macho men and how he was ashamed of being a dancer as a kid and hid it from his classmates for fear of being thought of as gay. He quit dancing as a teenager and worked as a tradie for a few years, then went back to dancing as an adult.

Someone also tried to get him to spill on whether there were any Strictly/DWTS Curses the public wasn't aware of but he wouldn't say anything other than that there were lots of fake romances and lots of real ones.

I want Tristan to really spill the beans on both DWTS & Strictly, I bet he has quite a lot to say about his experiences - neither show seemed good to him.

Loved how he just casually announced on his old blog that he wasn't coming back to Strictly rather than making a public announcement. Even How's Trish AJ & James Jordan didn't do that!
 
I’m back to mention my story about Tristan. I know a lady who’s son grew up with Tristan in Wicklow Ireland. Tristan was at her son’s 21st b day. I think it was in her son’s house and he danced with all the women /mammys.
She said he was a lovely guy and destined for greatness
I need to text her to get any updates as she told me this years ago. 😃
 
TBF I don't think Rose and Gio had that much contact after Strictly bar a few public appearances at the Baftas etc and her being used as a human shield every time a partner had a bad time. Ellie and Vito do appear to have a close friendship.

Rose seems determined now to detach herself from Strictly/Gio. Good for her.
 
I would actually be disappointed if Bobby was used as distraction. I like Vito and Ellie - but if they are more than friends just come out with it. I’m sounding really mean just suspicious Ellie has ramped her posting with Vito just as her reality show is about to launch and after it comes out she is no longer dating Bobby.

Rose and Gio I think did stay in contact after they won and more than just PR trips. I think Rose is staying clear of the drama but it isn’t her fight. I do believe they get on well as friends. Their friendship worked well in raising their profiles and helped Rose raise awareness about inclusivity in the arts and life in general. I’m not a fan of Gio, I do believe although he did use Rose for good PR but that he does care for her as a friend.

Ok, but this is clearly not true - she was obviously with Bobby, papped going into her flat etc. I think she's just decided to post their friendship and not care about the speculation, which is what some of us were saying she should do (including you, I think!). I don't think she could have been clearer with the 'friend' story. Though I imagine poor Roy frothing at the mouth now :D

I am definitely not speculating - just enjoying their friendship which we didn't get to see much of while she was dating Bobby.
Maybe Cheese Grater Woman will be revealed soon.

I believe they are genuine friends and should post what they want, the timing of not caring is quite possibly coincidence. I’m just being judgy having worked with people in the public eye, I tend to maybe look at things a work hat on so to speak. Ellie is quite possibly cheese grater woman.

I do feel a bit bad for Roy. Some people I have worked for have had Roy’s, bless him.
