She’s a lot better on late and live. The combination of a very young crew on that show, the crowd screaming, someone talking continuously down your ear and reading an autocue, plus first night nerves. She settled down after the first couple of shows last time.

Maybe the producers are trying to spin a love story/love triangle with some of the younger ones and assume most of the general public won’t know Nikita has a girlfriend?

I wasn’t fully paying attention by this stage and it was playing in the background but looked at the screen when they said friend and she didn’t react at all. She just looked excited and maybe a bit nervous to be on TV. She didn’t look in the slightest bit put out and I figured I’d misheard.
