I’m trying work out which of those I’d prefer. I think watching her do the samba with Eric Pickles would be my top option.I really hope she’s benched or given a duffer and out week 1.

agree 100%. its blatantly sexist how the press have come after ellie. she's 22, gorgeous and single let her shag whoever she wants!! they let grown men get away with much worsewhy do they care so much about who is banging who that they have to be so nasty, especially regarding people they don’t know.
I’m not sure anyone deserves that.Ah go on, surely a rumba with Pickles.
Incorporating her patented Worm and running around moves into a salsa with Roy Hodgson please.I’m trying work out which of those I’d prefer. I think watching her do the samba with Eric Pickles would be my top option.

I thought Ellie may win the tour after winning the show as she seemed to have a lot of likeability across the board but alas it seems the trajectory of recent years of the winner of the show not winning the tour has continued. From watching the tour in person it did seem Layton and Bobby had more crowd pleasing dances and seemed to be able to jeer up and entertain the crowd more.
I'm still surprised Will won more dates than Hamza last year!
In the politest possible way, I feel like both Hamza & Ellie were very plain in their personality/dancing in the arena. That regular guy/girl appeal worked on the main show but I think the audience preferred those with a bit extra on tour. The real successful winners who got both the main show and tour wins were always ones with that extra something, or failing that, hot men.

I think also those who have won the actual show don’t care as much about the tour, and generally the tour is a way for people to vote for those who didn’t win as a sort of compensation. Layton is a natural performer hence his wins and Bobby is very engaged with the audience. I think Helen’s win last year was down to people loving her on the show though as she didn’t light up the arenas as much as say fleurIn the politest possible way, I feel like both Hamza & Ellie were very plain in their personality/dancing in the arena. I don't remember any 'are they or aren't they?' with Hamza and Jowita? people just really seemed to like their rapport. There was more tabloidy stuff pushing Dianne and Bobby this year than Hamza and J.Yeah I agree personality wise Ellie and Hamza fade more into the background. After seeing this years tour in person Bobby and Layton's dances were overall more exciting plus combined with their personalities and the likability of the partnerships they were in it was more memorable than Ellie's. Maybe the whole Ellie and Vito of ''Are they going to get together or not?'' during the tv show helped push more votes but seeing as that's not what happened then it sort of was like a led balloon; sort of the same with Hamza and Jowita last year. I didn't see the tour last year so cant comment on what it was like in person but I would have thought based on his dances alone it would have been enough for Hamza to win the tour.
Rose and Kelvin were the last main show and tour winners; they both won for obvious different reasons but what they both had in common was both of their series didn't have the most exciting contestants to give them a run for their money on the show or on the tour.

I didn't really warm to the Kai/Helen partnership that much on tour last year but I guess you can never predict what people will latch onto, and she had a fairly big 'wuzrobbed' vote on tour I think.

That corset. Never has a man so visibly wished to be wearing a woolly tank-top.Kai was good for Helen in the Quickstep, but him in the Mein Herr number...
Hearing Layton say he didn’t expect to win any is actually sad, instead the complete opposite happened
