It's probably because I was never particularly attached to any of the couples this year, but I am ready for the tour and Strictly 2023 to be over now. Bring on pro tour, and the rumours of who's taking part next series 🥳

Absolutely. I'm happy for Layton and Nikita winning the tour but I was over the 2023 series the second it ended (or maybe even a few months before that). Yes please to ridiculous 2024 casting rumours!

I can understand given Vito’s history that he would be cautious, what has happened to Ellie in the past weeks can only have compounded this for him, but it’s odd that he hasn’t commented on her last post of them both (especially as the press have moved on).

I felt like a weirdo earlier… Jason Gilkinson did a photo dump with a pic of Neil holding a tray of Jäger bombs… Vito was in the background and I was zooming in as much as I could to see if I could recognise who’s hand it was on him 😳😂

I am sure we will see the others saying thankyou and goodbye to their partners, would be very weird if they are the only ones who don’t.

Haha I saw that and wasn't sure if it was a hand or a weird effect of the light... Probably Shirley!

The goodbye posts from the pros with partners have begun so it’ll be very strange if he doesn’t.

I’ve seen some pretty nasty comments about Ellie on various social media platforms over the last few days including she encouraged Vito and tricked the public to win, is using Bobby as he is more popular and some even saying she will probably get back with her ex if she even split up with him in the first place.
All quite nasty and undeserving IMO.

i know she referenced the being kind on social media the other day but it makes you wonder just how nasty the comments have been and whether she and Vito have made the decision to not post much for fear of antagonising the situation!
Personally can’t see a farewell post but you never know

I’ve seen some pretty nasty comments about Ellie on various social media platforms over the last few days including she encouraged Vito and tricked the public to win, is using Bobby as he is more popular and some even saying she will probably get back with her ex if she even split up with him in the first place.
All quite nasty and undeserving IMO.

After the final, there were the usual “——— was robbed” on any SM posts, Layton came out straight away and stood up for Ellie (probably because he sadly knew what it was like to get such hate).

The comments sections on the daily mail etc. have been vile, Ellie hasn’t done anything to warrant the hate she has got based on tabloid speculation (regurgitating/ updating the same baseless stories until the mud sticks).
It is easy to say, ignore the haters but we only see the public stuff (including the Ex selling his story).

Sadly there are plenty of nutters out there who don’t have any clue about boundaries and acceptable behaviours. I was happy to hear her speak out about it, it may stop some in their tracks but I doubt it will deter the real trolls out there.
 
Agree with all the above regarding anything nasty that's been sent to Ellie. Also, I have to admit on the opposite end of the spectrum, I do find all the 'nice' comments encouraging her to get together with Vito unbearably cringy.

Again, comments between posters on a forum is one thing, but posting such stuff on her SM and tagging her, etc, just makes me wince.

Yeah, those must be really annoying for her. 'I've been around him nearly every day for five months, decided he's not for me, but now that Joan43399991 says we're a lovely couple and need to get married I've changed my mind!'.
Also, given that she does (inexplicably) seem to like Booby, any comments saying they hope she's not with him must also have pissed her off.

Tyler (King of Content!) and Molly are there this evening, and looks like Fleur was at the matinee.
