Like a few others, Dianne has probably reached her limit of real contenders and won't be a producer priority. Unless there's any favouritism going on (like with Gio), I'd expect her to start winding down her stint now, getting a couple of duds and/or low profile celebs until she leaves. Same for Gorka, and Karen has already been on that track since Jamie.
 
I really liked Karen’s partnership with Jamie. I think Karen maybe happy to benched this year. Karen is a phenomenal dancer live, really stands out but for some reason that doesn’t across on the tv.

I do wonder if Karen may genuinely ask to be benched. I think she's had enough with celeb partners but is happy for the stability and perhaps a bit extra free time to pursue other things.

Yes, it's at the event but I still think they're smitten. Both her aunt and cousin have commented ‘love your bits and bobs 😍😍’ which feels very clear.
Also Bobby's (shudder) thirst trap was soundtracked to a remix of the Fugees. When Ellie posted that story from St Pancras two weeks ago with the sign 'I want my time with you' she used a romantic Lauryn Hill song. I thought at the time it was very Bobby-coded as he listens to a lot of older soul/RnB music. So I think they are sending little messages to each other. Maybe since Scarf-gate it feels very Romeo and Juliet (does that make Vito the nurse??)

Anyway! I think Dianne will do another season or two then leave to start a family. She's got other irons in the fire - books, fitness stuff, podcasts etc. I agree Bobby was her best chance. The tour showed he was popular, but her choreo in general didn't do him many favours.

It really is like them all over again. Hopefully it won’t go on for bloody years though. I feel so sorry for all those people who commented on their ‘Love you so much’ post after the tour, so sucked in by it all when all along she’s with Bobby. Feel really embarrassed for them 🙈🙈🙈

I think Dianne is one of the few pros that has a true career outside of dancing/the show. Yes Gio sells a lot of tours but once he’s past dance age I’m not sure what he’ll do, I don’t think he quite has the personality for tv. I hope he goes into choreographing as I do like his routines and think he’s a good choreographer. Dianne however has a good following on social media, and will make a lot more money than people think she does, plus Joe is apparently a multi millionaire so as long as she sticks with him she’ll be fine!!

Gio will leave Strictly in the next year or two, do about five years of the reality rounds like James Jordan (and possibly the odd tour or something), and then fade away once around 40 and no longer current.

Ellie is probably more sheltered than Bobby as up until Strictly, she didn’t really leave her circle of long established friends and family in Manchester.

Hopefully as Bobby is part of SCD23 there will be less backlash from the crazy shippers that like to comment on every post E&V do.
 
Wondering if some of the comments Vito likes are lost in translation to him? He also liked a comment saying you can see he and Ellie are more than just friends. I think Vito is going to find out the hard way about shippers. Keep saying it but I really do think he will get abuse if ever he is romantically linked to anyone who isn’t Ellie. As will that person.
 
I don't think anything could ever rival the Rio shippers - their impact went beyond the show due to the Bafta etc. There are only a couple of 'where's Vito?' comments on Ellie's post so I think it will all fade away soon, especially as neither of them will be in the public eye for a bit.
I don't think Vito is calculating - if he were they'd have done some pap walks etc, instead of radio silence during the tour. He seems a bit chaotic with his SM use - over Xmas he didn't give any content bar his nonna and roofing when pics of him and Ellie would have been grabbed up by fans.

I'm now longing for some new drama - Amanda bringing Gio down would be welcome, but that seems to have fizzled out.

It’s the dry season now till August.

Don’t worry though, they’ll be announcing Su and Pat Routledge on The One Show before we know it.

I don’t think so, Vito is quite switched on and comes complete with the baggage from Arisa which would have given some insight into the crazy minds of shippers.

My brother in law is 9 years older than my sister and they’ve been married for 30 years but I think Ellie has a lot of living to do. It’s lovely that she’s close to her mum and family but think she’s been a bit sheltered and needs to have a bit of an independent life.
Next year, they’ll be another couple that people choose to ship, and the year after that… and so on 🤣🤣

I have a feeling having a family with Joe might have gone up the list now her dad is unwell. She might want to show him she’s settled. Don’t really understand why they aren’t married yet to be honest.
