I think there's still a question mark over whether Johannes is staying. What with him producing and choreographing the film adaptation of his book, there's a possibility that might clash (and also, that in itself is a massive deal so maybe he might want to move onto bigger things?)

Gio, I kind of hope he is leaving but I suspect he probably isn't yet. Gorka has said he wants to stay, so has Karen, I'm guessing Neil will be there until he's of pensionable age now. I agree about Michelle - if no one else leaves, they do seem to have too many pros now and I can't see her getting a partner while everyone else is still there...
 
I think Johannes might have one year left in him and if so, I hope they give him a likeable and fun ringer, basically this years Ellie. He’s clearly very in demand work wise and I wonder if now he’s been granted permission to stay long term in the UK he will be more willing to commit to other work
 
I definitely think Johannes will do this year, maybe next year. I don’t expect to see him beyond that - we’re reaching the point where he’s too popular/busy to keep being a pro, lots of other projects going on. He’s also 37 this year, so best to get out before he’s on borrowed time for a dancer.
 
I feel that Johannes could leave, if not this year then next year. I think he’s involved in the production of his film so he could be too busy. Karen could go in the next couple of years as she’s had some injury issues I think. I don’t think Gio will go yet, he’ll probably want to finish on a high to sell his tour tickets. Gorka maybe in the next couple of years especially since he’s been a judge on the Spanish strictly. I did think Nadiya might go but now that her and Kai seem pretty serious probably not

The Vito pic is lovely. Sadly Bobby is in there too again. I am getting the impression they are quite smitten. :oops:

I think dianne will leave in the next few years, she will stay long enough for her parents to come and see her dance live and perhaps after will step back to focus on family life.

She's started fantasising about what her and Joe's kids will look like again

Most pros are lucky to even reach the final once or at all she's done it twice and won 2x tour trophy with joe.
 
I have just seen Amy’s instagram stories about being back in hospital, poor girl can’t catch a break. I remember her saying in a recent interview that she thought once she rang the bell and finished treatment that she could start going back to normal but she has now realised she will unfortunately never be the same again 😔 I think she thought she would be straight back into strictly this year but there are so many twists and turns with an illness like cancer, I really hope she doesn’t rush back too soon.

I think Bobby was Dianne’s last shot at being a winner, TPTB knew he would be popular with the kiddies and the nan’s that remember his angle muvva.
Even if she got a ringer this year, we know they never win and she is not good enough to get a duffer the glitterball.
If* it came down to a choice between letting her dad see her win the glitterball, or him meeting her child(ren) I feel she’d choose the latter.

*Hopefully, the treatment is successful and Mark has a speedy recovery to a long and happy life.

Crohn’s is a bastard illness and we all know that cancer is too. As much as I would have liked to, I didn’t think we would see Amy with a partner this year as it seemed a bit much on her first year back.
Fingers crossed she will be well enough to join in with the group dances and more ITT stuff this year.
 
As I’m a saddo reading the comments on Ellie’s latest post with someone saying Vito shouldn’t have posted that photo of him and that girl then someone pointing out it’s his cousin. It’s going to be Gio and Rose all over again.
