What I miss this year is the all-group activities. I feel like apart from the Traitors stuff we've hardly had anything. You need a Tyler with his constant videos, but also it seems there isn't as much group socialising. Ellie and Bobby are off shagging, Carlos, Angela and Nancy seem to hang out together, the older ones maybe just go back to their rooms, Vito is off doing god knows what, Layton and Nikita have their workshops.
Last year we got a lot of dinners out, cute bus videos, bowling etc, where you got more of a sense of people's bonding (Vito and Hamza's bromance, for example). So I think if we'd seen more of Krishnan and the others off-duty we'd get a sense of them having a laugh together.

This years tour is shorter, isn't it? Even down to the amount of time they had for training? I wonder if that has something to do with it. Add in the fact that the cast (celebs) are older than last year, it was always going to have a bit of a different vibe.

Just totted it all up and last years celebs had average age of 32, this year has average age 43 so will definitely have an impact
 
It’s such a range of people and ages too. It’s hard to imagine Ellie and Krishnan hanging out for example (although I would love to hang with Krishnan personally). You’ve got the Angela S, Nancy and Carlos crew, Annabel and Krishnan are probably going straight to their rooms to FT their kids etc, plus they both strike me as the type to want their own space and peace and quiet after a long day, Angela R will be asleep by 9 (jokes), Layton is off doing his workshops so really it’s no surprise the only gossip is Ellie and Bobby
 
Krishnan could just be feeling the fatigue. He's a man in his 50's, not especially physically fit (as he admitted himself), the constant travelling, then back to his day job on a Monday... I'd be absolutely shattered.

I imagine after the massive buzz of the opening weekend then through to the matinee today, the novelty has probably worn off somewhat, and it's feeling a bit draining.

Anyway, hope they get a good rest tomorrow - and The Leg is well oiled - as I'll be at the show on Tuesday 😁

I was thinking that it was unusual to have so many tenured pros as backing dancers, usually they'd put in someone like Michelle for those slots. I wonder if Krishnan actually chose Jowita as I'd think Katya or Karen would have seniority to get a partner.
 
Average age of 43 looks a lot, but then you consider that Ellie & Bobby could literally be on tour with their mum, dad & grandma so it is no surprise things are different this year.
Some of the celebs seem to be working on other things in their spare time too - Krishnan will be travelling to London to read the news on Mondays, Layton is doing his own dance classes with Nikita and even Angela R seems to be working on other shows whilst Annabel is busy following the tennis.
Then you have the ones with family commitments, such as Janette, Nadiya and Angela S.

None of the above is going to generate any excitement so it is no wonder a scarf is getting so much column inches.

I wonder if they thought Zara might do better in Strictly, she did hint she would love to have been on tour. She would have balanced the age groups out and brought the SM angle too. Sadly she just couldn't dance.

Yeah I think they are too busy enjoying and living life to be posting in real time about it all!

That’s probably part of it, plus most of them being older.
We used to be able to rely on Robbie and Jake , but even they are quiet. Kai and Neil were more fun last year as lads without responsibilities with Tyler. Nottingham is the place with the bowling alley so hopefully we’ll see that at least.
 
I wonder how many of them travelled to Liverpool? I think a few would have gone home. As there was no show last night and the next show is Tuesday night.

Looks like Dianne is with Joe. Either he travelled to Liverpool or she’s gone home.

Karen is back home with Simon , Neil is in Manchester on Morning Live.
 
Vito wearing Ellie’s paso wig! (At least it hides his haircut) 😭

Ellie I imagine will have gone home for a day to see her mum. Wonder if she’s brought Bobster to meet the fam? Anyone in Manchester, be on the lookout for a brightly coloured scarf..
