Just saw the posts from earlier regarding Claudia - I was thinking that by the end of this year, we'll have had 11 series with Bruce & Tess, 11 series with Tess & Claudia taking us right through to the show's 20th anniversary. In a way, it makes sense to then hand on the baton to someone else.

I'd rather Claudia stayed, but I'd think an ex-contestant with a good sense of humour would suffice for the Clauditorium role if she left. I'll return to my previous ITT pick of Ellie Taylor. DO NOT let Janette near the main show.

I was at the Glasgow matinee today (with my young kids - sorry - but one of them is a staunch Lakita fan who canā€™t stand Bobby and the other one loves Ellie & Vito). We got seats right at the front that someone put on returns last week.

Krishnan & Jowita donā€™t have much chemistry and he seems to have lost the joy of it all a wee bit. Maybe being Craigā€™s designated fall guy (I was going to say ā€œwhipping boyā€, but maybe not like that) every show has sucked the fun out a bit?
LOVED the additional costumes for the celebs in the Barbie routine, esp Grangela as 80s Fitness jogging suit Barbie.
Everyone did seem a bit knackered - only Layton & his backflips giving it the full 100% - but still a great show.
Ellieā€™s wig falling off was AMAZING. It was right at the last second of the paso as she is swung through his legs; it went flying off across the floor in the other direction. Vito got so excited trying to explain it to Janette he switched back into Italian and the two of them were falling about the floor laughing.

My kids had made signs for Ellie/Vito and Lakita. Layton gave my eldest a special wave and Vito, who had spotted the sign earlier, brought Ellie right over to wave and blow kisses to my five year old at the end. DAYS MADE.

there was a Bobby cheering section up on the balcony but a lot of kids shouting for Ellie too. We were shocked L&N didnā€™t place (my eldest actually shouted ā€œBUT BOBBYā€™S RUBBISH!ā€ at the announcement, got some glares), but then Iā€™ve just been catching up on the tour gossip here today.

If E&V waved to me and blew kisses my day would be made, so canā€™t imagine how your 5 year old felt šŸ„°
If I get any screamers for Bobby near me this week, Iā€™ll kick off šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£ Layton & Ellie screamers allowed only

I don't think Claudia is going anywhere - the rumour seems to have come from a joke she made in an interview about how she wasn't expecting the first series of the Traitors to be so big and that she was scared and joked to her husband about quitting everything including Strictly and going into hiding

Cue all the 'Claudia set to quit Strictly!' headlines

And thank goodness it seems to be bollocks because she's irreplaceable (although I will accept Rylan as the only alternative)

Putting aside how insufferable Willoughby is, I don't think they could put in someone as host who hasn't had any connection with the show until now. It's too much of a well-oiled machine at this point and would feel a bit jarring.

Zoe & Rylan would work, though I wonder if Rylan would be better in the Clauditorium, he's a little more witty.

Claudia has always said that she will stay as long as Tess does.
(I do quite like that such a big show is fronted by 2 women ā€˜of a certain ageā€™)

I sometimes get the feeling that Anton will stay until he's as doddery as 2012/13 Bruce. Can only imagine what his commentary will be like then!
 
Weird because I havenā€™t been to the tour this year but I almost feel like itā€™s missing the mark a bit for them all this year? I feel like this years cohort really loved doing the main show, Ellie says it changed her life and gave her so much confidence, Krishnan was just full of joy every week, it transformed a horrific year for Annabel etc and itā€™s almost like when you go on a really really good night out that you werenā€™t going to go to and then try and recreate it again, itā€™s just never the same. I donā€™t know, I feel like one or two of them might have wished they finished on the high of the main show instead

Annabel seemed quite happy at the show I was at. I do wonder if Krishnan maybe regrets it though - he didn't really exude the same joy as he did on the series.

Krishnan looks like he's having a great time in the clips I've seen. Maybe his partnership with Jowita isn't as good as with Lauren, but he's loving life.
What I miss this year is the all-group activities. I feel like apart from the Traitors stuff we've hardly had anything. You need a Tyler with his constant videos, but also it seems there isn't as much group socialising. Ellie and Bobby are off shagging, Carlos, Angela and Nancy seem to hang out together, the older ones maybe just go back to their rooms, Vito is off doing god knows what, Layton and Nikita have their workshops.
Last year we got a lot of dinners out, cute bus videos, bowling etc, where you got more of a sense of people's bonding (Vito and Hamza's bromance, for example). So I think if we'd seen more of Krishnan and the others off-duty we'd get a sense of them having a laugh together.
