Katya is definitely the superior choreographer, she’s the best on the show for me (nikita is definitely creeping up though). It helps though that although most of her partners have been shite they have always seemed up for it. Nadiya on the other hand almost always gets the celebs who not only can’t dance but are also nervous wrecks or not that arsed 😭 Lee Ryan was desperate to get his career back on track and didn’t seem that committed, David James seemed very nervous 24/7 and poor Matt Goss looked like he was on the verge of a nervous breakdown 🤣

I think she peaked her first year really. I don’t find her choreo very interesting . She did a nice job with Dan, as much as could have been expected, but I do think he got as far as he did because he was simply popular with the right demographic. I think Luba is more interesting as a choreo and I want to see more of what she can do. Her partnership with Adam was adorable too. Unfortunately with Strictly it seems to be an either/or situation with those two girls.

I’m not sure how strong Nadiya is as a choreographer. She may not have had great partners but I can’t remember any of her dances unlike Katya who is excellent regardless of her partners ability. However I agree that Nadiya is spellbinding as a dancer in the pro dances.

She did her best work with Davood - the paso and AT at were very good (10’s for the AT and Charleston) and consistently good scores. They went out in the quarter finals to Alexandra and Gorka after getting caught in the middle of the mad Mollie and AJ power voting. Then the next series they gifted her Lee Ryan.

Davood was really good on tour too, he actually seemed to have improved a lot by the time the tour came along.

So pleased Ellie got a home win!

I would pay good money to see Erin and Aliona leaping up and down and shrieking with the attendant eye rolls.

(I don’t think Natalie or Camilla would need much prodding, though).
 
So happy Bobby hasn't got any wins or runner up spots in Manchester so far, and that Ellie's gotten another win. I hope she and Layton each get another win there. I think that'll mean that even if Bobby wins all 5 London shows, Layton just has to win once in Nottingham to win the tour? Hopefully doable, he's won at least once in every city so far. 🤞🤞
