Nadiya is mesmerizing to watch dance. A lot of people find her boring but just because she’s not jumping about in front of the cameras 24/7 like Janette doesn’t mean she’s boring. I hope she’s back off the bench this year with a decent partner. I think it’s going to be between her and Luba for who’s benched but personally I would prefer Nadiya was given a proper chance, I love Luba but just don’t connect with her as much.

I'm hoping Nadiya and Luba will both be partnered. Karen seems like she'd be fine with the bench if she's not leaving and Michelle will probably be a serial bencher (which is a shame as she seems lovely and she is gorgeous). Personally it would seem safer to me to have Amy on the bench in her first year back having a lead role in a pro dance and dancing with the musicians, maybe a guest spot on ITT but partnering seems too intense. Though if it were up to me and several of us Dianne would be on that bench letting the better dancers have a chance and giving our eardrums a rest.

Yeah in an ideal world Nadiya and Luba would both have partners so let’s hope. I think if Amy is back then having her on the bench would be a sensible option, guess it just depends on what happens with her health from now until then. I wouldn’t mind Karen on the bench but I don’t think they would do it, and I agree that it doesn’t seem likely Michelle is getting a partner anytime soon.

Just give Dianne this year's Les Dennis (which she's due after Tyler & Bobby anyway) and she can be out first. Job done.

I think Nadiya was only benched this year as they only needed 7 female pros but 8 males. If they need 8 females Nadiya will 100% get a partner. I honestly think Michelle could leave as she stopped appearing in the Saturday shows this year unlike Neil and Nadiya, even when Neil's partner had just had a baby! I think someone mentioned it earlier but would love to see Graz's wife or even Nikita's sister brought it to switch up the female pros a little!
 
I'd probably replace Nadiya & Luba with a new tall female pro, someone like Natalie Lowe before them. The show hasn't invested in either of them and at this point, I can't see that changing. I know the height excuse is used, but they could have partnered up with any of Tyler, Dev, Charles Venn, Rhys & Bobby. Even Nigel or Will at a push. But didn't get any of them.

They also didn't really need both of them when they were hiring. Same with Johannes/Graziano, though Johannes did at least become popular.

Would love to see Graz’s wife join. He’s so lovely & they might actually see each other then. Must be so hard spending so much time apart.
 
I’m not sure how strong Nadiya is as a choreographer. She may not have had great partners but I can’t remember any of her dances unlike Katya who is excellent regardless of her partners ability. However I agree that Nadiya is spellbinding as a dancer in the pro dances.

Katya is definitely the superior choreographer, she’s the best on the show for me (nikita is definitely creeping up though). It helps though that although most of her partners have been shite they have always seemed up for it. Nadiya on the other hand almost always gets the celebs who not only can’t dance but are also nervous wrecks or not that arsed 😭 Lee Ryan was desperate to get his career back on track and didn’t seem that committed, David James seemed very nervous 24/7 and poor Matt Goss looked like he was on the verge of a nervous breakdown 🤣

Once upon a time, back when this were all fields, none of the pros (or the contestants, for that matter) jumped up & down and shrieked like maniacs.

It were a simpler time. 👵🏻
