I remain convinced that under different circumstances (if they were both single) something would have happened between Layton and Nikita, even if it was just a one off adrenaline fuelled snog. I think there is definitely an attraction there beyond platonic friends. Don’t attack me for this opinion, please leave me in my realistic delusional bubble.
 
Think i’m the only one who doesn’t see any kind of romantic vibe with any of the couples this year. Ellie & Vito have amazing chemistry but for me it’s always come across as purely platonic and I think they will be great friends for a long time. Same with Layton & Nikita, yes they come across as flirty but if you watch Nikita he’s like that with everyone (including Angela Rippon) 🤣 I think what makes the partnership so amazing and beautiful is that a straight man is so comfortable with a gay man and has allowed him to be himself at all times, yes it’s the bare minimum but these days it’s rare so really nice to see.

Agree. Nikita is naturally playful and his friendship with Layton is just beautiful. Same with Ellie and Vito, I hope their relationship is just platonic as it’s lovely to see Female/Male friendship that is affectionate without being sexual.

Can I remain with one foot in my slightly delusional bubble about E&V then?! Who I’m totally convinced after seeing them perform last night are just friends. There was no stroking of the arms and arms wrapped around each other much at all.. but yeah I’m delusional 🤣

So we're now in the position that if there's stroking and cuddling, definitely nothing is going on, and if there isn't... definitely nothing is going on! 😀
Vito is definitely good dad material 🥰

My opinion changes daily 🤣🤣🤣 after seeing them last night no way!
There were times when they were just stood next to each other whilst every other celeb/partner were holding hands… you know to the point where you thought have they had a fall out here 🤣😍😍

I dunno, in the results video last night he has his arms round her and is his usual self. Plus someone posted the video of their post-paso chat with Janette and they're very touchy.
But we've learned, pace Judi James, that there is zero point in trying to analyse the body language of Italian (or Ukrainian-Italian dancers)! :ROFLMAO:
