Laura Whitmore does have an unfortunate habit in general of inserting herself into drama or trying to make it about her. Which means most people will probably disregard what she has to say on Giovanni. Krishnan speaking out seems to have settled the 'Amanda is just difficult' chatter a bit although I'm sure the Mail Online will try to continue it.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know when Rose deleted her gushing caption about Giovanni on her post-final post?
Originally it said: "

"I'm dedicating this post to the most wonderful human ever, Giovanni. The person who was there every day with me for four months, who knows truly what this journey has been for me, the reason why I have become confident within myself.

He came into my world and brought the best out of me. I cannot thank him enough for all the work and effort to make me become the dancer that I am today. I never thought I would leave Strictly with a best friend for life, thank you Gio 💕"

Now it just reads: "I am beyond proud of us. Thank you Gio for everything💕"
I presume she changed it a while ago?

Rose edited many captions and deleted some posts in January. You can look the post caption on Instagram and it will say edited and how long ago it was edited.

Rose definitely had problems with Gio, but was lucky enough to have her interpreter as a buffer.

Yes in this case it is absolutely about her. I'm not disregarding that for a second. She has every right to speak out.
My point was her previous form for jumping on any bandwagon going unfortunately will lead a lot of people to disregard what she has to say.
She was among the first to flag it she should be listened to and should have been years ago when she brought it to the attention of the BBC.
 
Laura’s trying to jump on the bandwagon. It was clear she didn’t like Gio from the start as he dated her friend Georgia May Foote and Laura found it awkward being paired with him as they’d split.

I think it was during lockdown that Laura alluded to it being more than just it was because he was her friends ex and that her Strictly experience wasnt exactly joyous, so I don’t think she is jumping on the bandwagon she has always quite openly since then said she didn’t enjoy Strictly, but, had been perhaps more cautious about the exact reasons.
