He wasn't even selling out shows before 2021! The year before, Ian Waite and Vincent were outselling him at my local theatre. Seriously, he should be giving Rose commission for his ticket sales. What a crappy thing to say even as a joke, especially at the moment when it's tough times for any theatre production

2017 was peak Gio for me. Great partnership with Debbie, he looked like he was enjoying himself and everything they did was high camp in the best possible way. Would not miss him in the slightest if he left now

Apparently the show he said it at wasn't even sold out! so yeah, maybe tongue-in-cheek, but if it walks like an overrated pleather-clad Lavender-worshipped egotist.. I just get the sense that he is deeply insecure and desperate to prove he's the most successful pro (hence the bots)
Anyway, of the male pros now, Vito, Carlos, Nikita, Johannes, Graz, Gorka, and Kai are all as good or better dancers and have much more charm. He's still ahead of Neil though, I'll give him that.
 
Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE Giovanni as a dancer and would pay a lot of money to have him teach me, but after the last series with Richie, I honestly can’t see him staying on Strictly much longer. He’s already won and won’t want to be the go to pro for the duffers. With Nikita, Kai, Vito and Carlos around now, I don’t think it’ll be long until we say bye bye

Jo, Vito, Nitika, Graz and Carlos have shown you can be an amazing dancer and have the personality to match. Gio always been boring and too serious. I did use to think maybe it was a language barrier but he been on the show long enough now.

Gio is the new Brendan. Past his peak on the show and not really showing interest in his partner. Though he was bad with Richie, he seemed a bit off on the Christmas show as well.
 
Not quite Strictly but definitely Strictly adjacent - we went to see Strictly Ballroom this week, it’s directed by Craig Revel Horwood & stared Kevin Clifton and Maisie Smith. It was so camp and sparkly and over the top, it was really good fun. I’m not a Kevin fan but he was actually pretty good, I was a pleasantly suprised.

Dancing with the Stars make-up artist Lisa O'Connor has laughed off Hughie Maughan's claim that she was behind his none-more-brown fake tan, explaining that he had used leg make-up on his face and was "that colour from eight o'clock on Sunday morning".

Yeah, it was a given Mardy would sweep. Pity it was the exact same result at all four shows, tho, and not a bit more variety for second place.

Hoping Hamza and Fleur start getting a bit more recognition in the coming shows.

Poor Molly, Ellie and Tyler not going to get even a sniff of second place, but to be expected really. They seem to be really enjoying the experience which is what matters most.

Helen stormed it so getting 4 x 2nd place doesn’t surprise me. It’s the home vote what got Mardy the wins, he really played on it Saturday afternoon
 
Nikita’s parents were apparently there yesterday. He celebrated by holding a Ukraine flag at the end and… re-enacting his shirt-whipping-off! Legend.
