Same here - if they bring politics into light entertainment reviews, then I'm not interested. Monkseal never did that, don't see why anyone else needs to. Sorry Ariadne.

It’s not politics for Ariadne though, is it? it’s very, very personal.
it’s her blog, it’s not like she’s doing the Guardian live blog or reviewing for the Radio Times, when it would be more of an issue. If she she doesn’t feel inclined to be witty about someone because of important to her life stuff, that’s her prerogative. I’m just glad she’s in a place where she feels able to do any reviewing at all.

I don't know if you could really call this situation stalking since they're in the street but the press really do seem to be pushing some sort of story with them. Whether that's because Jade was his mother, who knows.

Actually there was a story about Graziano giving Zara a kiss on the cheek in front of Giada on the DM uesterday. Seems they're trying to make stories out of nothing.

I just thought I'd order the SCD thread posts by most liked before I started watching to get the lay of the land, heads up on anything important I need to be keeping abreast of etc. Only just worked out there are two Nikitas and they are two different people. Oti Is a fabulous dancer and teacher. I don’t know why she is saying this now about Strictly, it seemed clear to me that she was being offered a lot of opportunities outside the show and decided to take them. Nothing wrong with making money while you can, especially in such a precarious industry. But it’s a shame she has commented on her celebrity dance partners, she knows it would invite speculation about them.

So cringe. I know the paps are known to follow the strictly cast but these look set up to me, bizarre. AJ & Kai for example, although they were a showmance every press outlet was talking about them yet we hardly ever saw any pap pics of them?

I know what you mean. I suppose Dianne may not even be complicit in the set up? If fake it's possible Joe is in on it and they're all just aware that any publicity is better than no publicity.

YouTube and social media can be very lucrative, and Joe has made millions over the years. Dianne has also become an influencer since she met Joe, and she won't be doing too badly out of it either. I wouldn't have paid £3 for their tacky mansion though

I was going to say, I don't remember things being like this with her past partners. Yeah, there was pap photos but nothing like long lenses through the studio window etc.

Ugh the whole Strictly curse thing is sooooo old. I think the problem is some of these journos were still in nappies when Natasha and Brendan had their “thing” in S1 so keep bringing people to the possibility over and over again. But it’s so boring for the die hards amongst us who’ve heard it every.damn.season even though there’s been what 10-15 couples over the years out of like 200+ folks that've danced on the show!

From being a Strictly gossip watcher over time, in the hierarchy of Strictly news stories, the only ones I put much stock in are the Sun Exclusive(!) stories, God help me. They are usually heavily editorialized and get facts wrong also, but do sometimes contain a grain of truth somewhere. They were right about Gemma and Gorka and Nadiya and Kai, for example. Giovanni and Jowita. And then they write nonsense also, but it's usually at least based on something more than the writer's imagination.

Whereas I think the Mail are generally just writing fanfic most of the time
