I wonder if the Pros put more pressure on themselves when they have a celeb who is competent? Personally, Oti with Danny had one of the best run of dances of all but that kind of expectation must be hard to fulfil. She had quite the celeb rota as well and had to choreograph for the first Paralympian and take his 2 blades into account, and then switcheroo from Jamie to Kelvin at the drop of a hat. I think probably Graham Swann was her most ‘relaxing’ year … and that came with Graham Swann.

But the intensity of being with someone all day every day working very hard, and and trying to constantly bolster their confidence every week, must be a huge challenge.

But the intensity of being with someone all day every day working very hard, and and trying to constantly bolster their confidence every week, must be a huge challenge.

Oh gosh, absolutely cheerleader, therapist and coach on 24 hour call out. There’s no wonder why come Halloween half the celebs are booking passage to Erin Island and the ones left in by December have a slightly glazed expression, a security blankie and a new phone number in January.
