Just saw ITT. Fleur seemed more at ease this time. Bobby & Dianne were pretty vapid together, nothing interesting about their interview. On the flip side, Angela & Kai clearly have a good partnership, as do Eddie & Karen, enjoyed both.

Is it wrong that I'm not finding Joanne too unbearable yet? Though I draw the line at Kevin coming in.

she does actually come across as being a really good teacher … bet she’s brilliant with kids.

Yeah, I usually find her analogies a bit ridiculous and distracting but she's doing a really good job of explaining the choreography in a fun and creative way this year.

I kind of like her more since finding out she's playing Fiona in Shrek, The Musical too. No airs and graces with that one, it's a fabulous part if you have comedy chops.

Update on our two ex Strictly pros across the pond - Artem top of the leaderboard at DWTS, should be another good season for him.

Then Gleb checked out the moment he got a partner over 50 - great attitude as always.

Pleased Artem and Pasha have someone good. Can't help but feel like it was a waste of time to give someone with potential to Brandon again after last year.

I was surprised Gleb's choreography for Mira wasn't actually bad - at least he got her to do some basic steps reasonably well, even if it wasn't the most imaginative routine, unlike whatever the everloving duck a few others (most egregiously Sasha) were doing. 😂

But yeah, his reaction to meeting her was douchey, at least pretend not to be disappointed, geez. It made me laugh to imagine Gleb swapped places with Graz or Gorka and then his dawning horror as he realised how badly Zara/Nikita danced! 😂

I thought it was interesting how me mentioned how different it was from the rehearsal with the audience there. I think trained athletes do get a bit of a boost from the buzz of a crowd and that helps them get into game mode.
Similarly those with live tv or stage experience can tap into that too. I think it might have been why Zara seemed to struggle compared to a lot of the others, she’s not used to that environment and I think nerves got the better of her.

i think zara came across as being very nervous and awkward ( like she didnt really "belong") . You can see she doesnt have a natural rhythm and looks very stiff but i think she has potential if her confidence grows and Graziano gets the best out of her.

Ps - I am not a superfan of zara btw. I just thought it was very obvious that she didnt look comfortable (which may have had an impact on her dancing,)

I like her, I always think she explains stuff well, she must be a really good dancing teacher.
i think she does a good job explaining what the best way to learn a step. Her instructions to me are clear. I also think she must be a good teacher :)

Kai and Angela seem to have a lovely partnership and Eddie and Karen seem to be getting on well too.
Bobby and Diane….. hmmm! It was a strange interview . Either Bobby has no personality or he’s a little empty between the ears. Strange young man. So to compensate Dianne was laughing and laughing and explaining and sort of hyper to cover for his strangeness - anyone else feel the same?

I’ve noticed this before. I don’t think she has been friendly with any of his dance partners
Only Helen iirc but even then they weren’t *that* friendly from my memory

I think Gemma can't be arsed following them - she has a lot of other things going on, probably won't meet Nikita as they are training in London, and maybe knows she won't be around for long! I think her and Helen were quite pally.
