There is a total absence of male eyecandy this year. Bobby is cute, but too young for me. Layton is too preened. Adam is okay, but irritating as piss. Nigel does nothing for me. And nor do any of the other guys. Just total desert.

I thought last year was dry with Tyler and James as the closest thing to eye candy in the cast, but unless the last celeb is someone special, I'm gonna have to pretend Adam doesn't annoy me for being the closest thing to a decent looking guy.

The press leaks this year have been pretty much full accurate…

it’s not my favourite line up so far but plenty time to see how it all works in 🤷🏼‍♀️

Given that whoever is announced today has been separated off as the ‘stand alone’ final reveal, it’s going to have to be someone in the realm of being a long-established household name, and I suppose LD fits that bill.

If the final reveal is ‘And completing our 2023 line-up is … the travel correspondent from BBC Radio Teeside!’ it’ll fall a bit flat 😁

I think he’ll be good fun; as someone pointed out, he does a good line in self-deprecation and he’s not afraid to laugh at himself. Plus he’s an ‘old school’ entertainer so he knows what light entertainment is all about.

He’ll have to ditch a lot of the 42nd Street shows for the duration of his stint though 🫤
 
Never bothers me if I don’t know of those in the line up - in recent years I haven’t known of Rose, John Waite, AJ, Hamza, Molly and the list goes on. I just love watching dance, sparkle and light entertainment that it offers. All I need is for the celeb to look like they having fun and enjoying themselves. Controversial possibly but I enjoyed Jamie Laing - he genuinely came across as loving it.
