Twice at Wembley, 2011 & 12.

I'd take the entire series in Wembley over one episode in Buckingham Palace.
 
I continually forget that Oti and Motsi are sisters! The information just will not stay in my brain for some reason! 😂

Also, I never used to think they looked much alike before, (which is probably why I keep forgetting they're sisters) but a little while ago I happened upon an older clip from the German one and actually mixed them up. I literally was like 'wow, I had no idea Oti had ever judged on the German one' and then she started speaking and I realised it was Motsi, and that she looked almost indistinguishable from Oti when she was younger/thinner.

Angela R is a shoo-in, I'm sure. Has there ever been a bounce back from two consecutive DO's? Regardless, she's the inevitable one.

Nigel and Ellie - safe with a strong public vote and should both be high scorers.

Bobby - may get overmarked this week, but I think he's more popular than here and DS make us think. I predict he's safe.

Annabel - seems the obvious one, but she's a proper Beryl favourite. If Ellie T got through BP last year, I think she could, too. I predict she's safe.

My two at risk are Layton (and if he is, I will go postal and kill people) and Angela S. If Layton gets the 40, LB position should be enough. Angela S is my wildcard. She could go either way with this routine, but does have proven public support.

And then factor in ties on the LB, etc.

The only good bit about Wembley was the bit where Chelsea shot fireworks out of her arse 🎆🎇🎆🎇



Oh, and the time the Wembley bottom 2 got spoilered on DS before it had even been announced in the arena and all hell broke loose 😱😱😱

It was the year Russell Grant was shot out of a cannon ( or something like that). It didn’t work at all it was far too big.

Yes loads 😁 It’s not that uncommon …just series 19 had 2 different couples on 2 dance offs and then safe, Tilly and Rhys. (Jude had 2, then missed a week and then went.

I love the Judging for that. Nothing says ‘we were anticipating giving you 10’s because all week this has been promoted as the d ace’ than trying desperately to pretend it wasn’t a hot mess that was ropey long before the random jigging on one leg and still going with 8’s and 9’s … and people complain about the marking now.

Ha I'd forgotten all about Wembley but Blimey that performance was ropey and the place is just too big for it.
