I met Leonard Cohen (who wrote Hallelulah) by chance in a hotel in Dublin. He was with his daughter and grandchild, Rufus Wainwright's child.
He was the loveliest kindest man. Funny.
I always think of that when I hear that lovely song.

I mean, he did give this feedback on Saturday night to Claude but just not to Layton and Nikita

I think they pre record some of them, especially for the earlier and then some of the musical acts and later pro dances are done after the live shows as it gets later into the series.

The musical acts and non pre-filmed pro dances are recorded earlier in the afternoon before the live show. Sometimes the musical acts are filmed different weeks to when they're shown depending on availability.

Me neither. Been twice in my life and the last time was 30 years ago on a day trip.

I’ve never even been once! I have no regrets about that, but it seems that I’ve broken some sort of northern law by not holidaying repeatedly in Cackpool

I don't even mind a barefoot contempowaft but that was so weird and out of place, as was the weird cover of an 80s pop song. Just use a song from the actual 40s for duck's sake.

God, that wig was a crime! Lost my tit when it cut from the outdoor bits where it was all limp and bedraggled to the studio where it was curled.

Off to rewatch last year's infinitely superior one.
