They def did that for a couple years but I thought they reverted back to filming the group numbers each weekend?

I think they pre record some of them, especially for the earlier and then some of the musical acts and later pro dances are done after the live shows as it gets later into the series.

Think they film most of them in advance but from now going forward I think they film most of them after the live show. Think the pro dances for musicals week and the final are the only ones remaining that will be pre recorded.

I hope someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that all the group dances are pre-recorded before the series starts now. I think it started during Covid and they have carried it on.

Karen posted on her story about a long rehearsal day today so I'm assuming the celebs and pros were rehearsing the Blackpool group dance like they usually do each year.

It feels like a bit of a throwback seeing Giovanni dance. Almost feels like we’ve had a changing of the guard while he’s been out of the show with newer dancers/characters like Vito, Carlos and Nikita stepping more into the limelight? Is his time over?

I met Leonard Cohen (who wrote Hallelulah) by chance in a hotel in Dublin. He was with his daughter and grandchild, Rufus Wainwright's child.
He was the loveliest kindest man. Funny.
I always think of that when I hear that lovely song.

Strictly is the only time anyone on the planet says they really want to go to Blackpool I’m from Yorkshire & I also never spent any holidays there! But I do go once a year to theme park, love a rollercoaster!
