It's Bobby. If he blinks the wrong way, it's a pile on 😄 I don't really like him, but find there's a lot of mountains out of molehills where he's concerned.
Genuinely, whoever it is, I don’t know why you would do something ‘for fun’ that has the potential to start an injury. There’s enough jeopardy in what they have to do without tempting fate. He has a foot either side of her neck. If I was Dianne I’d be waving the insurance policy and making my excuses.

I do tend to find a lot of the ‘I can’t believe what Bobby has done on his Instagram’ and then when I dig it out and find it and watch or read it for myself I’m like ‘Is that it? What’s the big deal?’

Yes what he did could have potentially injured Dianne’s neck but he’s a bit boisterous and immature. A lot of the time I think people are looking for the littlest of sticks to beat him with

I’m not his biggest fan either

Oh, She’s as daft as he is … probably more.
if you were a person who relied on having no injuries that could stop you working and your muscles being untweaked would you willingly put your head between someone’s feet and then fall over?

Yeah, I thought Bobby had assaulted her from what people were saying! Dianne is equally responsible here.
Another ‘hilarious’ game the contestants are forced to do. For the sensitive, it involves Angela S mentioning Anton’s sweaty jockstrap

These games are usually good for a laugh but this one is just odd.
Why were the teeth necessary we can only understand whats being said because of the subtitles must sound like a mumbled mess for that lot 🤔

Not great this week.

Why is a lift like that in a cha cha cha though? They're not supposed to have lifts at all.
I'm not saying it is for a lift. What I was trying to say (badly) is that it is no worse than other stuff I have seen from the training room which is when couples are practising lifts. This, even if it was just messing about, seems quite harmless to me 🤷‍♀️

Exactly this! Maybe because I have a late teenage son plus another slightly younger son, I am used to stupid and childish behaviour without much thought 🤣

I’m pretty sure it was a tiktok trend as I saw a lot of people doing that to people on tiktok a few months ago.

Sure Bobby is a bit of a dick but he’s a young lad. I’m sure they are encouraged to mess around on social media to build their fan base to get more votes. I’m sure for all the people that are outraged that he could be so irresponsible there are plenty that find him hilarious and will pick up the phones to vote 🤷🏼‍♀️

One thing that has annoyed me about Strictly for years is how much it's produced like a children's TV show. All loud noises and shouting and bright colours and stupid jokes and sketches which aren't funny to anyone beyond the mental age of a toddler.

Yes, children do watch it but it's a Saturday evening family show not Dick n Dom in da Bungalow

I don't think it needs to be all stuffy and boring like it's the 1950s, but I think there's a happy medium!

It has a tendency to get very in-jokey as well, especially on ITT … which I think is why a lot of it falls flat or just has people thinking ‘huh’.

Totally agree.

When I was little and watched Come Dancing with my nan (klaxon), I was absolutely entranced by the gorgeous ladies in their glamorous ballgowns and the handsome men in their tailsuits dancing to all that magical 'waltzy' music. I loved the elegance and glamour.

Even as a child, nothing would have appealed to me less to see the couples dancing in daft, cartoon costumes to silly pop songs. I would have loved it on a kids TV show - but Come Dancing was a 'grown up' show with enough glitz, glitter and sparkle to keep my young eyes riveted.

Of course times change, and it would all be deemed too old-fashioned now, but I think they pander way too much to the younger audience, who probably enjoy the sophisticated dances as opposed to the childish ones (unless they're literally a toddler).

SCD wasn't like that until Claudia took over. The past decade, it has gradually felt more and more overly panto and like a kids show. The Clauditorium area wasn't nearly as crazy when Tess was doing the interviews.

The show is generally decent but I am getting a bit fed up of the fluff bits that feel overly childish. If I never saw another judges entrance again or heard "THE JUDGEZZZ" or "Our Strictleee Starrs" again, it'll be too soon.

Not suggesting that they should bring in another Bruce type, as he was old-fashioned.

To be fair Bobby is hardly holding Dianne down and forcing her to do whatever the hell that was. If anyone should know better it should be her, she’s the teacher and professional here.

I don’t particularly like him but agree he can’t breathe these days without a pile on, “oh my god did you SEE how much air he took in?! Nothing left for Dianne she might die she should complain”

To be fair, it’s not as if Claudia really has any say in that. Most of that kind of thing are Production decisions. The whole way the show has changed from couples being asked to take to the floor, to starting and finishing with a bow and curtesy and the audience being restrained for the most part shows that Production wanted a move away from what they obviously considered the more stuffy and formal aspects. I think most of the time, the changes creep up but because we had a couple of series where the Clauditorium was empty and things generally quieter when it goes back to ‘normal’ it’s really noticeable.

Was having a TV box clear out the other day and found some very old ITT’s where Zoe was still involved. I’d forgotten just how much I disliked the exaggerated face pulling to camera when they were doing the scores for the Pro Challenge. Apart from it being Zoe breathlessly gabbling through the script nothing else was really any different in essentials.
