Good riddance I don’t wish her any harm and if she’s suffering from a medical issue I hope she recovers soon but I’m happy to not have her on my screen every week.

I dislike her but I didn't want her to withdraw as a) means a 3-person final in a competitive year (and risk of a 2-person one!) and (b) I enjoyed moaning about her and Fanny Rat's PowerPoints on how to create 'chemistry'.
I hope we get a great story out of this about her having a raging bust-up with Gio over his eau de toilet activating her allergies or something but I suspect we won't ever know..

I see the Fail has now got a quote which to me says it's dunzo. The vagueness of it all does make wonder if it was a clash with FR..

Well that's a shame I think. She was a good dancer and there are so many lack luster celebrity dancers left it's a shame to lose someone who's actually good and who you can enjoy watching.

Well that's a shame I think. She was a good dancer and there are so many lack luster celebrity dancers left it's a shame to lose someone who's actually good and who you can enjoy watching.

I couldn't enjoy watching Amanda at all. It was so detached, like watching a robot execute a series of programmed movements.

I didn’t get resentful and above it all at all. I do think she seemed anxious though.

I also wasn't keen, but didn't want her to quit. Something was definitely off between them.
Also, I think some people are just not a good fit for Strictly. She looked like she was really not enjoying it one bit.

No, there’s always an elimination, even when someone withdraws, which is why we’ve ended up in the past with the horror show of two-person finals.


The only time there was no elimination was when they fucked up the leaderboard in such a way that Tom Chambers couldn’t have gone through even if he’d garnered 100% of the phone vote, so they had to put all of the semifinalists through to the final.

Must be correct, the Mail, Express, Mirror and Metro all have the same story. They cannot all be merely copying the S*n story.


This will have to be Gio's final series. He will be off to promote his dodgy fragrance before we know it.
