My favourites tonight were Ellie, Angela S. and Krishnan. Everyone else was shades of meh, bar Layton. Surely Nikita to go? I haven't seen much hate for Layton on SM but doubtless there is some.

Nikita and Jody will most likely be in the dance off, but I wonder if Angela R might be in danger too? Lots of people probably giving all their votes to Nigel because he's quite far down and maybe she'll get forgotten about

I actually thought Nigel was really tit so haven’t voted for him.
I was surprised how bad he was and I actually don’t think he’s the nailed on winner anymore.
They usually sit family and friends of contestants away from judges on front row down other side, you would think daughter would sit next to Amandas partner.
Yeah that’s why I wasn’t sure but Amanda did shout down to someone sat behind the judges so wasn’t sure

Amanda’s partner is in a wheelchair and I think he sits on the same side where the judges sit. In the corner next to the stairs I think

I think it is her, very similar and I've seen people say hi to people on that side as they run up the stairs so I think they're dotted about all over.

i don’t think he’s ever been the nailed on winner, no one is at this early stage. i think if he can come back next week with a good performance he will be well on his way to the final though (if he keeps it up). a few dodgy weeks will only help him as the british public love a journey don’t they

Krishnan, Ellie and Bobby for me because they entertained me most. Ellie's dance in particular felt like a turning point and the dances on the whole improved after her.

Yeah, I thought Nigel had this in the bag, but Angela S, and even Bobby and Ellie, can very easily trump him, I think, especially in the Latin stakes.
Well, well, well. That was a shitshow, not quite on BBC Week levels but possibly the first time in all 14 years watching that I had no idea what I was watching. I can't even remember the leaderboard or most of the dances.
But we can all agree that we dodged a massive bullet by not having Les dance this week!

It was week 4 last year that Hamza sealed his win with the salsa so there's time for Nige. I think it is more competitive this year - last year it was Hamza v Helen and the other two best dancers, Fleur and Molly, were in and out of the DO like a Len Goodman metaphor. Whereas potentially four or five others this year could break through.
