I think Strictly needs to look into hiring an intimacy director/ coordinator. Protect the pros and the celebs. Stop the bloody spread eagle lifts.

I think that's a tad excessive. Mature adults should be able to handle dancing together without having a meltdown. Bobby doesn't seem to be behaving like a mature adult though.

Of course if someone feels uncomfortable doing a particular move they should feel free to voice that, and not be made to do it, but I think surely most of them know what they're signing up for and can manage to get on without needing to be babysat.

DWTS is ridiculous with theme nights but I low key wouldn't complain if we got a week of songs like this on Strictly - infinitely preferable to Hayley Sanderson trying to attempt singing modern pop songs again:

Both of the younger Peas independently commented that Dianne would look better with brown hair. And I agree! Not even being 'shady' here, I wish she would ditch the red. It makes her look, well, sort of grubby.

I wonder what the Strictly producers expected to happen when they gave him a Paso Doble.

Edit: I rewatched Jonnie's Paso and it's got significantly less stomping about in it (though the bloody swinging in on a rope bit could have gone horribly wrong, ala Will jumping off a table!) Think Jowita made a bit of misstep with the choreography, unfortunately. I hope he doesn't end up having to withdraw. (Though of course if he has to he should)

Wont all the other females be a version of Barbie too? Like the film - literally everyone is either Barbie or Ken (with the exception of Alan and Barbs pregnant pal)

Yeah, it's concerning for Jody. I'm not convinced he should be dancing this week at all. Plus, if he did dance, this issue would likely boost his votes and see him through another week, when an earlier exit would probably be better for him (health wise) and better for the show (avoid him withdrawing if things get worse).

Given some of the leg actions in Paso Doble, seems weird that he got that style. Then again, looking at Jonnie's dances, he got all of Paso Doble, Quickstep and Jive in his run so TPTB clearly weren't ever that careful.

I suppose being a sprinter and having the springy leg made it easier for him to handle Jive and Quickstep.

When you look at that list Bobby really is a harmless critter compared to the rest.

He played a bad boy in Eastenders who had a vulnerable side and people lost their minds over him back then - I was definitely one of them

He's handsome but not himbo-ish if that makes sense? I dunno... there was just something about him, and now he's in Strictly I can see that there still is!

I agree DWTS goes way overboard with the theme nights however Strictly have been hashing out the same Movies,Halloween, Musicals themes for years.It’s gotten awfully stale and predictable. They need to be a lot more creative and mix it up a bit imo.

Don’t know if it’s already been asked but has anyone else noticed a Giovanni absence? He’s not really posting on socials, I don’t recall seeing him in the last professionals dance and can’t see him in all the rehearsals for this weeks professionals dance?

I agree DWTS goes way overboard with the theme nights however Strictly have been hashing out the same Movies,Halloween, Musicals themes for years.It’s gotten awfully stale and predictable. They need to be a lot more creative and mix it up a bit imo.

I would like them to add a TV themes week, or include them in movie week. They've kind of done that this year with the 60s Batman music anyway.

That said, given how (for the most part) horrendous the BBC 100 theme week was, I'm not sure I'd trust any ideas they might have
Molly's Couple's Choice haunts my dreams, and I imagine, hers and Carlos' too!

God no, I can't imagine what Godawful tit they'd come up with. The current themes already lead to some horrible dances.

I don't want "Personal story week" or whatever like they have on DWTS, the sob stories on the couple's choice weeks are bad enough.

I agree. I felt for him tonight on ITT.
That's quite a challenge in life, to overcome, in the first place, never mind achieving as much as he has done.

Strictly is just a light entertainment show and his health is a million trillion zillion times more important.

He never posts on socials anyway He did post a training update story with Amanda a couple of days ago.

On one hand it would get all the sob stories out of the way in one week instead of having them there nearly every week throughout, on the other hand, it becomes awkward when a celeb doesn't have an emotional/inspiring or whatever story.

It was so cringey last year on DWTS the way they did the VTs, they kept framing the lighter stories like they had the same weight as the heavier ones (or vice versa) so you'd go from someone being like 'my most memorable year was when I worked as a nurse during the pandemic and was the only person allowed in the room while patients died' to someone being like 'my most memorable year was when I got cast in Beverly Hills 90210' and them being delivered with almost the exact same tone
