Something about Amanda and Giovanni's dance gave me that icky feeling like when you're at the office Christmas party and there are two bladdered people getting off with each other on the dancefloor going waaay too far to be decent.

That is not to say I thought the dance had believable sexual chemistry - it did not and it made us do the "eww" face in our household. Sordid.

My husband said it felt like watching your ma being overly sexualised 🙃

someone’s posted on the spoiler page that it was Zara and Nikita in the dance off. One reply says Z went and the other said N went. So probs neither have went 😂
Not a surprise I guess. Though would imply Jody has more of a fanbase than Zara! I presume judges would save Zara given she was marked higher..

I was hoping neither of the girls would go but not surprised. Jody having more of a fan base that both surprises me - especially Zara

Just finished watching.
Lots of them brought a smile to my face, in a good way, whether they were technically brilliant or not. I enjoyed them.

Layton and Nikita - wow wow wow. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I love that Nancy seems to be having such a fun time this year.
And I'm not sure why Shirl was so tough on Nigel.

Loved Angela and Kai. And Angela and Carlos.
Ah what the hell, they all gave it their best. 🕺💃

The comments on Bobby's dance really do make me wonder if people actually know how old he is. He's a 20 year old man but it comes across like lots of people truly think he's a teenager.

There was also one which said he has his late mum's charm and innocence...😬
Twenty is really young in an adult world. He litetally was a teenager last year. Maybe it's because I've got a son not much older but he does still seem incredibly young to me.

Jade was innocent in a lot of ways. She had some horrendously ignorant views but she was also young and uneducated. For me, and I may be alone in this, she showed and made actual attempts, not only to apologise for her behaviour but to learn from it and be a better person. What more can you ask of someone once they've had their failures pointed out to them? I'll save my judgement for people who are deliberately awful and have no interest in changing.

I totally get that Shirley has more critique for improvement for those she think could be in with a chance. But it's pointless if you're going to be verging on cruel to some and all smiles with somebody else. Just deliver all your feedback in the same tone - cruel to be kind doesn't apply here.
Yes it's as I was saying earlier - just judge the dance. Don't keep thinking about someone's 'journey' or attitude. I do think Strictly differs from other reality shows, like Bake Off where you are only as good as your last bake. On Strictly if you start off good, like Nigel, you are judged more harshly than someone constantly poor but trying. Luckily the public generally see through this.
