I’ve noticed there is a lot of dislike of Hamza on certain Strictly Fb groups. I’ve no idea why because on here. Twitter, and in real life everyone seems to love him. He‘s never been in the bottom two and his dances always get the most views on YouTube. I would bet my house (if I had one lol) on him winning easily. He almost certainly tops the public vote as well. Yet according to that lot the judges favour him and it’s biased towards him? I can’t help but think I’m watching a different show to then? He’s a had a few duff weeks where he’s not really connected in the same way, and the judges have definitely told him when he’s made mistakes etc.

Who are these people that are so at odds with everyone else?🤔

Didn’t Vicky say something along the lines of “we’ve had this made for a while and haven’t found a use for it” in regards to Dianne’s Viennese waltz dress (the green zipper thing) that whilst a gorgeous green just didn’t feel right for a VW. It really felt like they’d just shoved her in any old dress that week.

I wonder if they’ve had a budget cut or have been told to produce versatile stuff that can be reused in more places not just the strictly franchise. There’s definitely been a drop in quality since last year.

They don't like him because they like who they want to win more. But somewhere along the way, that's turned into outright nastiness about his appearance, his dancing and even his personality.

I don't understand people thinking he's been favoured unfairly. He has critique, he's had some truly shite dance themes (DINOSAUR RUMBA FFS) and he's had relatively lower scores than some of the others sometimes.

Nutters, miserable bastards and idiots claiming to be fans of the other contestants.

I saw some comments on Twitter asking why Hamza was wearing a kilt as he’s not Scottish - I think I can guess what they’re alluding to. He’s said before that he considers himself a Scotsman, but even so why should he have to justify wearing the kilt? You don’t need to provide your birth certificate and passport to buy or hire one! Yes there are some questionable costumes and themes, but let’s not get our knickers in a twist over a man wearing a kilt

I think there’s been a huge drop in quality with the outfits compared to the golden years of Strictly. Definitely doesn’t have the same glitz and glamour feeling anymore😣

Yeah I think fleur moves more like Janet Jackson. Beyonce is not actually that great of a dancer *ducks to avoid the beehive swarm*

beyoncé is great at certain styles imo - she arguably did fosse decently in single ladies (even if she didn’t admit to it 🤣) but agree that she’s not a showstopper in the way that janet is.

dancing seems to be a forgotten art for a lot of pop stars right now though (k-pop aside)!

Seems to be. Because then they seemed to cut the skirt off it and put a more latin skirt on it for Nancy in last week’s pro dance

I think people not liking or connecting with Hamza is fine. I haven’t seen anything too scathing tbh but if they’re not being overtly hateful I don’t see a problem, and I say that as someone who loves him. If people think he’s boring or has no personality then that’s their wrong opinion. Anyone commenting on his weight, however, is an hole.

I’m defo guilty of slagging Will, Dianne and Amy to name a few, who are probably nice enough people but there’s just something about them that irks me 😂 and as much as it pains me to say it, maybe others feel that way about Hamza.

The fanwarz have been absolutely off the scale this year though, like insane levels of batshittery.
