Two #ads in one post? Man’s got skills 🤣

He doesn’t need the glamour of Strictly, he’s busy opening provincial Italian chain restaurants.

The polo-neck! 1978 strikes!
I saw a post on that Rose/Gio group the other day saying that Vito needs to consult Gio's stylist as his style is not on a par! (this was the day of the blue ITT suit). God bless their devotion if they are lusting over those double-breasted Burton's jacket! They also critiqued Vito's 'gypsy earring' as opposed to Gio's diamond stud (not even going to touch that)..

It was nice of his stylist to match his polo neck to his teeth

What is the fascination with polo necks? He’s only in his 30s.
He’s actually a decent looking bloke but his dress sense is appalling. He looks even more like a retired bank manager taking his good lady wife to the Conservative club for lunch than Kai does, and that’s saying something.

Love Vito, Carlos, Nancy, Nikita and Jowita and don't miss the greasy Giovanni at all. Fair play, Strictly chose well with the new pros. They have one better singer this year too.
They just need to dial down on the X Factor-ness of it all and it'll be banging again.

I know we like to complain, but the Strictly Dancer-Picking Elf has done absolutely sterling work 2021/22, and should be recognised for their achievements. They've pulled in:
  • Kai, a charming, down-to-earth bloke who hit the ground running and played the will-they-won't they showmance to perfection
  • Nikita, who is what the producers always wanted AJ to be: a cheeky, quick-witted younger pro who can most certainly speak more than two sentences without giving you the impression that someone is feeding him all his lines through an earpiece (sorry AJ, but you were a robot)
  • Jowita, again, incredibly well-versed on how to play the game and is adorable whilst also giving one the impression she would bite the nose off a judge if they dared harm her precious partner, be that Hamza or Adrian. (It's a good look for her, I do like a bitey professional dancer. )
  • Carlos, who has had a slightly difficult run with poor Molly, but clearly is an excellent dancer and whom I would very much like to see more of, I think there are depths as-yet untapped in him, perhaps a same-sex partnership would bring it out. (That rumba with Nikita was fire.)
  • Vito: warmly, sweetly eccentric, not afraid to play the fool at all, and has just been an absolute joy to watch on social media with Fleur and the other pros, who all clearly love him
I can't make a judgement on Lauren or Michelle yet, hopefully next year they will be partnered (maybe give Cameron a shot too?)

What I would say is that the male professional lineup is incredibly strong at present, but the female side really needs looked at. Karen is surely thinking about other things after 10 years, they need to either give Luba a partner or move her over to choreographing officially, and Amy looked done in this year. Not sure if she was a wee bit unwell or other things going on, but that pairing with James just didn't work on any level. And Dianne might need to pull up her socks too, Tyler should have been a nailed-on semi-finalist based on how well he danced the first few weeks.

After seeing Kai on DWTS Ireland I knew it wouldn't be long before he ended up on Strictly.

Cameron is the male Chloe if you ask me, destined to never get a partner. Anytime I see him in a pro dance he looks out of time and messy compared to the others (Chloe wasn't like this), he's the weak link for me. They do need to have a look at the female pro line-up though because there are a few there who may be looking to move on in the next year or two imo, before any of the men anyway.

Kai, Nikita, Jowita, Carlos, Vito are all great signings who I hope stay for the rest of the 2020s decade. Lauren seems good as well.

For me, the 2021 & 2022 intake each had 3 good ones and 1 weak link - feel like Cameron isn't up to the same standards as the others and seems a bit dull on camera, I can't ever see him promoted TBH. There's something off about Michelle, I can't put my finger on it but I have not warmed to her at all.

It is great that we now have a decent stable of male pros to go forward with. Agree that the female pros need a bit more revamping, then we're good to go! Keep Katya though even if she's the 2nd longest serving.

Rylan where are you?

Janette: We loved it didn't we *cheer *clap clap clap clap Give it up for Mardy Will and Nancy *cheer *clap clap clap clap

Mardy's charleston wasn't a charleston then, and all the judges just let it go. 😠

She is driving me crazy with all this clapping, there is no need Janette.

With Mardy whining on and on and on and on, too, the whole show is nearly unwatchable. Janette talks rubbish she needs to make it sharper.

Graz on the challenge. Lot of steps that he didn't do the tap tap tap with the left foot.
