I think that applied to Bill Bailey. He didn’t get dragged into it.

i loved when his son sent a video message that they set up to be all emotional and it was something like “when are you coming home, we need you to clean the garage” or something 🤣 like you say, he never got dragged into it and always had a little quip whenever someone tried it.

like the op said, i give helen credit for that too. you just know production are desperate for it. i wonder if it will, on some level, get mentioned in her CC.
 
I voted for the 3 that made me cry tonight (don't judge, I'm tired and ovulating): Hamza, Kym and Fleur.
I don't like a sob story and I didn't like how Will went about his tonight. Kym's didn't feel as cheap to me for some reason until she pulled the "I hope I've done enough to get YOU to Blackpool" card on Graz, but that aside, her dance felt truly emotional and beautiful and she did a great job.
Hamza is just pure joy and pride. He's wonderful. Jovita is a fantastic partner.
Fleur showed such growth tonight. Fabulous performance- loved watching her (and obviously Vito).
Ellie did well with her Charleston but it wasn't hugely memorable.
Molly's rumba was technically great but I didn't connect with it for some reason. Carlos danced beautifully as always.
I thought Tony did alright despite his uncontrolled kicks and Craig (or whichever judge it was that made the crappy "you'll never be a dancer" comment) probably bought him a few more votes by saying that. Loved the costumes on him and Katya and the set and concept.
Will's dance looked quite good to me but I didn't think his frame looked right? I was surprised by the scoring and effusive comments.
Tyler does nothing for me. No Spanish line, no connection with the dance.
My money is on two out of Ellie, Tyler and Tony in the danceoff but realistically I've just realised I forgot Helen was even there (after enjoying her performance earlier) so what do I know!
