It’s a shame that the poster is a bit sloppy for their big launch. I can’t find who they are working with for this, it isn’t a Strictly Theatre Co production and there’s no mention of any other producer on the poster/any of the posts I’ve seen.

It’s awful when a spelling mishap happens. I once worked for a company - had a new branding launch and there was a typo that no one had noticed or questioned - it was on all the stationery, website etc. Luckily hadn’t pressed go on the launch so able rectify but it was a costly error (luckily not my error).
I do wonder how successful all the pros tours will be next year - I don’t think people are going to be able to afford as many as previous years.

Am I the only one who finds it a bit cringe and that they’re trying to push themselves as the new mr&mrs strictly despite only being together for all of five minutes. (Not helped I’ve got major ick with Kai and I can take or leave Nads beautiful dancer but I forget she’s there sometimes) That many dates does seem ambitious regardless of cost of living one show for all of the four Yorkshire’s is poor too especially when there’s some lovely theatres. (Plus Halifax is a pain in the arse to get to 😂)

Same here.

I think people are forgetting that Nikita would have had a massively different experience dancing and teaching Ellie - having to adapt choreography and learn her way of doing things does take empathy and compassion. I don't think it's a bad thing to acknowledge that and personally didn't see it as him being like "awww, you gave me the sads because you're disabled".
That's how I read it which is why I mentioned that I found it patronising, but I definitely don't think Nikita would have been intentionally patronising at all, I literally said that all the pros who've had disabled contestants have done the same thing so not sure why people are getting so extremely defensive of Nikita like I'm hating on him- I voted for him and Ellie pretty much every week 😂

I really wonder how Kai and Nadiya’s tour is going to sell. This is only Kai’s second year and he left week one this year and Nadiya has had a few partners but none have stayed that long/been particularly memorable. It might have sold slightly better this time last year but I still don’t see it doing too well?

I can see most of the smaller pro tours struggling to sell well. I am sure the live tour will sell as well as it always has because people will buy the tickets as Christmas presents. I will be interested to see how well the Pro tours sells it's certainly better value for money compared to the smaller tours.

I didn't expect Kai and Nadiya to go down this route - the brand deals, the designer dog, the couples tour and rumours of engagement after leas than a year. It is naff. I've gone off them, though not in a deranged KJ fan kind of way.
I just think they are making the most of it while they can … Anton has released CD’s and books, Brendan went on Celebrity Love Island (that still makes me chortle), Ian and Camilla started a fitness programme thingy. More pro’s than enough have done the Ok/Hello route. There’s been more calendars than you can shake a stick at. Dancing is precarious, Strictly is precarious. One wrong move and you are left chirruping on the side lines that it was much better in your day. I guess they have to make the most of their time in the sun because they don’t know how long it’s going to last.

At least they are doing what they know and aren’t ending up in a slap fight in the back of a taxi with Lee Otway (I loved that series so much),

It is a bit cringe, but Kai and Nadiya wouldn't be the first Strictly couple to use their relationship to sell tickets, and I doubt they'll be the last. At least they're both excellent dancers, they danced together quite a bit on the pro tour this year, and they looked really good together I thought.

Huff Post are doing a behind the scenes series about Strictly which is quite interesting:

I was projecting to next week when the puppets are complete!
You know I am going to be half expecting that the puppets will appear next week 🤣

Was that the first time ever that Shirley produced shoes like that? I am not a long term watcher but haven't seen her doing it before. There's an edge all of the time, imo, in her feedback to Fleur. I'm just imagining her thinking aha, I know what I will do next, and packing up the weird little shoes 😁

I just watched the results show again and I'm a weeping mess at Ellie and Nikita.

I don't have a favourite couple this year, however I did love the relationship with the two of them, and not been patronizing here whatsoever, the wonderful way that Nikita choreographed their dances to accommodate the height difference, was marvelous, gracious and dignified.

The love of dance that Ellie has discovered, plus the way the rest of the team gave her such a wonderful send off was just gorgeous.

Had to laugh at the bit where she said that all of the 'cool cats' in their 20s know who Tyler is.
