I think even the McFly fans saw what a clusterfuck the Tom and Amy sitch was and wanted to save him before Amy forced him to adopt her.

I think the difference is that this year an organised campaign for Tony appears to have emerged, whereas nobody gave a tit about HRVY!
Just checked and odds for next elimination are: Ellie, Fleur, Kym, Tony, Molly, Tyler, Will, Helen, Hamza. Surprised Molly is so high up but perhaps that accounts for the DO bounce.

But didn’t Dan last year and Mike Bushell before only get as far as they did because of the BBC Breakfast voting Army?
I just think that the gangly male non-dancer with a touch of personality who looks to be trying will always go further than theoretically they should because they are the ones that are sold as being What The Show Is All About.
Somewhere around Blackpool people start to vote for who they want in the final … and it’s always harder to get out of the bottom 2 when you are down to 5 or 6 couples.

Sorry but he looks quite gaunt and not well!
I like Stacey tbh, watch a lot of her documentaries. Sure she will be a great mum but he's a bit 🤔

Yeah, it will depend on whether her charleston is a camp spectacle or a bit of a disaster and whether her vote would turn out again so strongly if she were mid-table?
Similar with Fleur except we know she doesn't have a strong vote and it's Molly's turn to have their shared vote this week! :D
Worried that Vito will try too hard as the samba is 'his' dance (I have to say I am not a massive samba fan anyway, pace Danny Mac). Visions of him trying to get Fleur to do this and her being flung round like a drunken ragdoll on uppers!

i really like vito but i fully agree that i think he might go into trying too hard mode (and we’ll get something like their jive again!) - he is a glorious dancer and that clip is 🔥 but i think he does have something to learn still about restricting his own abilities.

the samba is probably my least favourite dance (with one or two routines as exceptions). same with the cha cha cha. i think i just don’t get what they’re supposed to be 🤣

Not sure about Mike Bushell as much. Wasn't he in three DO's?

I think I would have voted for him if he wasn’t such a mardy knob jockey. I was chuffed to see he’d signed up - I remember him as Jambo from Hollyoaks and I always thought he was sound. What a disappointment!

But he must be a hit with people, if I dare enter the world of Facebook Strictly there are always positive comments about him 🤷🏻‍♀️. He’s never really had a test of vote though, that’s got to come at some point (samba, Charleston)
