I’m sure I saw that on his insta yesterday. He was also with Anton on one of his previous days off, probably sorting things for their tour that’s coming up. He has such a busy couple of months.

I know he was a horrendous match for her and she ended up being knocked out way earlier than she should’ve, but don’t remember her making negative comments. Have you got a link?

I do feel a lot of sympathy for female dancers and starting a family, it’s almost impossible to pick the right time. Not a dancer myself so I don’t know how impossible it is to get back into it… mind you, Nadiya seems to have managed it very well

I miss Natalie Lowe. She’s the same age as me (41) and left in 2017 (her choice I think). She had a baby in 2019 so maybe that was her reason for leaving. I thought she was a great choreographer and always seemed to get along with her contestants.

That’s as good as it gets sometimes, I’ve made some great, life long friends through work and I’ve also worked with people I thought I’d keep in touch with but didn’t. Anything better than Brendan and Lulu is fine by me!

I meant where she’d bashed Graziano, but just had a Google and found it. Apparently liked a tweet saying she should’ve been paired with Neil instead… as if her journey couldn’t have gotten any worse

I love Vick so probably a little bias, but I really think she could’ve gotten far with Aljaz as a teacher

Assuming you meant a link to the negative comments - she blamed her exit on Graziano's English not being good enough, which rubbed a lot of people the wrong way.

Don’t know that Emily Atack holds enough social status for Gio to entertain that. You can normally gain a fair grasp on who he’s currently chirpsing from his Instagram following - he unfollows women as soon as the spark’s dead. I know he denied initially, but Verity Bowditch is 100% his type

Yeah I do think something was happening with Verity, but needed to keep the Rio shippers. Love Rose and felt sorry for her last night. So many Rio shippers commenting on her post. All saying Gio and Rose are meant to be and it was true love. So glad she is deleting those comments now. Maybe now they will realize that Gio isn’t a saint and Rose didn’t need saving!

also, no source, but I read on Digital Spy that she complained that Graziano hadn't told her she had to dance the cha cha on a straight leg, but there was rehearsal footage showing him clearly telling her she needed to straighten her legs.

She also apparently accused the producers of a fix.

Tabloids probably blowing things out of proportion, but she definitely could have conducted herself a lot better, instead of trying to shift all the blame onto Graziano.

I'm quite a cynical person, but I think in this case it's genuine. Janette seems like a very warm person and I think she just has a lot of love to give.

Same. Her relentless positivity grates on my nerves a little at times, but I do believe her (and Aljaz's) friendships with their former partners, and Ashley are genuine. I mean, just how high can one social climb up an ex-pussycat doll?

Didn’t she make claims that the reason she was voted out was because the public didn’t know Graziano yet? And i’m also pretty sure she made comments about his accent and saying she couldn’t understand a word he was saying to her and that also contributed to them leaving according to her. I’m not a huge fan of her tbh, I think she was one of those contestants that expected to do well without actually putting the work in, from what I remember she didn’t train as much as the other celebs did.

It's just a Daily Mail story but things like this are why I would not miss Giovanni one iota if he were to call it a day now he has his win, despite the fact that he's one of the best teachers on the show. He seriously gives me the ick.

Sometimes I wonder if all the over-the-top womanizing is a front for being a closet case. Most of his relationships seem like fake PR setups, and Jason Gilkison 'found him wandering around Soho' apparently! Datalounge claims he's gay. But of course, datalounge claims practically everyone's gay.

If so, I feel bad for him.

If he really has that bad taste in women though... I agree, ick! He moved a couple of slots down on my favourite pros list when he started dating (or 'dating') Maura.

Gleb also became less attractive to me with the debut of his latest plastic girlfriend. Can't understand how anyone finds that look attractive, or wants to do that to their faces.

i think she puts herself forward for almost everything. I love her on the radio and think she’s a great host. I still don’t know that she’s really found her ‘big break’ yet though, and probably thought Strictly would be that, hence acting a tiny bit of a diva afterwards
