Now, that's just not true. I don't like Amy but we all loved Tom.

Now that The (wonderful) Matt Goss has gone, I’m not actually rooting for anyone so my 3 weekly votes are there to be won!

I agree that polls and forum posts aren’t a true gauge but Will must have received a lot of votes to get through last week. So if that is the case, it’s his to lose really. People will say Mardy Episode 1 - disappointed to get negative feedback after such a great first week. Mardy Episode 2 - unwell. But what’s the next excuse?

He doesn’t look like he’d appreciate constructive criticism from anyone but hopefully he lightens up.

I don’t think there’s a clear cut winner yet

Funny you used that example because I was actually going to put in a previous post that I'm not the biggest fan of Amy but I dont dislike her; if she had a contestant that I REALLY liked then I wouldn't care if he was with Amy.

Nobody liked Tom enough regardless of what pro he was with anyway.

I thought Tyler was cocky from the day he was announced when I was posting his Tiktoks of him taking his shirt off and eye-bleeping himself on here, wayyy before he was partnered with Dianne. While Dianne has her detractors, she also has her stans like you who will automatically support whoever she is partnered with, so I guess it all balances out 🤷‍♀️

Well, maybe people actually just don't like or aren't invested in Tyler? It doesn't have to come down to people disliking Dianne.

The situation kind of reminds me a wee bit of Clara Amfo - I don't think she was as popular as Will in the first few weeks, but there was a general sense she was well-liked and had a lot of support. Then she had one not so good week and got enough votes to avoid the dance off. But then had another even worse week and that was that, no sympathy votes if you keep messing up

Although seeing as he's a bloke I expect the audience will still go a lot easier on him and give him more chances, because that seems to be the Strictly way

I don’t find him massively cocky either but it just feels like he’s being pushed on more than the others. I bet 15 years ago if someone said ‘I’m doing a marathon and then going to Mauritius’ they’d have been told to come back next year.

When he comes up it’s like ‘oh here’s teacher’s pet…boring’ and I’m struggling to cope with Dianne 😂

He has said it himself in interviews he has got to get used to the judges criticism and not let there negative comments get to him. I still like him and want him to do well because if he just enjoys himself more then he can easily do really well in the competition.

Also, Will came into the show really popular (most popular) whereas Clara didn't.

I think everyone knows Filly that you would dislike any partnership Dianne was in even if she was partnered with Fred Astaire himself (unless you have distain towards Fred Astaire that we dont know about). ;)

Like I said in a previous post he has been in the top half of the voting poll each week and only Will's voted has been tested so far out of the likely finalists so its just a wait and see like some of the others what happens.

Fleur is under pressure to perform every week as she knows her vote is rocky - she and Vito have amped up the IG stuff which is a good strategy I think. You have got to make people invest in your partnership. I am not sure anyone is invested in Tyler and Dianne.

OMG just seen Liz Truss has resigned! she didn't even last a full season Strictly! :oops:

I’ll stick my neck out and say Jayde won’t even come close to winning. Between Halloween and Blackpool the Judges will have a lightbulb moment and suddenly start saying all the stuff that she’s doing wrong, she will be completely baffled and She will be out after a leaden jive.

It's no secret I find Dianne irritating and not particularly inspiring, but I don't really think I'm alone in that here 😁 I wouldn't be averse to enjoying one of her partnerships if they didn't all feel just a bit forced. What I would like to see her do is a different kind of partnership - maybe an old fella, maybe even a woman, someone with a disability perhaps. I just remembered, I actually did like her with Rev.

Looking at Tellystats, Hamza was top last week on SM but that was also because Will's views plunged - nobody wanted to watch that rumba again! If Will has a good week he could easily be top again (and obviously that is not in itself crucial, but clearly FB/Insta/Twitter views play a role in showing popularity...)
This week is went Hamza, Fleur, then a gap to everyone else - but that obviously doesn't translate into voting because those two didn't need the votes and Will did. We do know he has a very solid vote out there..
