Well, Matt came across a lot better on ITT today than on anything else I've seen him in so far. He was making dry little jokes ( "Of all the gifts I have ever received, this is one of them" 😂 ), connecting with Rylan well enough, him and Nadiya seem to be working happily together, in their quiet way.

I think he's naturally very reserved, in that odd way actors/musicians who have an exuberant persona on stage can sometimes be in real life, and it comes off as that slightly unnerving detachment he was demonstrating last week.

Loved that Rylan was able to make Joanne Clifton collapse with the giggles live on air, he's so naughty!

James came across well enough too, though I wish Amy would have just let him speak, she kept jumping in and speaking over him.

Kym and Graz were just weird together: Graz seems like he's forcing too much cheerfullness and positivity, and Kym seems a touch morose, and the more morose she seems, the more Graz lays on the saccharine good cheer...and so on... something isn't working very well, which is a pity, they seemed happy to be paired up at the start
 
I can’t work Kym out … she said she wanted Graziano, the first VT was him virtually being held hostage and force fed meat balls by her family from page one of How To Bond With Your Partner by Amy … but now she looks like she can barely muster the effort to be ambivlanet.

I wonder if she thought she would be better than she is … or the fact she is middle of the pack has phased her and Graziano is over compensating which is making her worse?

I think that was probably meant in a friendly way but supports my view that not everything needs be shared on social media. What is teasing amongst friends seems a bit inappropriate when beamed out in a story - the optics of a tiny dancer scolding a big man for stuffing his face are a bit off. I remember Katya used to do that a bit to Adam last year but it resonated differently as he is obviously super buff so there was no potential body shaming involved.

Re: Kym: it could be as simple as she is actually quite insecure and Graz is overcompensating. Even though she has been in showbiz/performance for a long time, she is late 40s and may be feeling very exposed, more than she anticipated.

I wonder if Kym has been reading her own press and realises what is being said, so is going the other way to avoid the curse rumours. Don't read anything Kym and just enjoy it!
 
Agree with comments on Matt - he's obviously naturally introverted which is possibly why he comes across well on ITT as it's a far more intimate environment, but then gets much more nervous and uncomfortable when competing with the extroverts on Saturday night.

I have no feelings, good or bad about Kym, but could it just be she's a bit of a mardy cow? 😆
 
Just watched ITT.
I think Rylan has a very easy rapport with people in general and that's partly why Matt is more relaxed.

I thought Kym came across okay, she is taking it quite seriously. But at least she is not apologising to her family 😁
The clip of Graziano with her grandchildren was cute.
 
Has anybody seen Hamza speaking about his dyslexia? I used to teach dyslexic teens and his quote is honestly so powerful:

"l truly believe my dyslexia is my gift and I am the man I am now because of it. If I can connect with one struggling kid who thinks he or she is not going to be anybody, if that kid can say, look at Hamza, he has dyslexia but he is living his dream, I'd be happy."

He added: "If I can do it anyone can. Dyslexia is not a hindrance, it is a gift."

I love him. So many people with dyslexia need to hear this.
