Nadiya looked a fright. Guess she had to draw the short straw from wardrobe eventually. The less said about Matt the better.

Thought they were a little tough on Ellie T. She was the one worrying me most from the camera block footage, and I was right unfortunately, but it could have done with a few points more.

Love Will, but yikes at that choreography. Some very weird moments. Didn't fit the music well.

I feel like Hamza looked better in the rehearsal footage, unfortunately. And awful costumes.

Glad Nikita didn't try to spend half the dance bent double, would've been disastrous. I think they coped with the challenge very well, lovely waltz.

Probably technically pretty good but I struggled to pay any attention to Fleur and Vito. The horrific dress didn't help.

I hated Mollie's suit at first but then it grew on me. Interesting choreography. Could've done with a little more time in hold, but still the best dance of the night.

Richie really surprised me, thought I'd hate it from the rehearsal footage. Would've preferred a little more time in hold, but the choreography really worked. And Gio looked believably happy this time. And for once, the wardrobe department didn't dress the same-sex pair horribly.

James worse than I was expecting, and the whole routine bored me to tears, dunno why, but the most forgettable for me. I liked him and thought he showed promise until he mentioned having hardly any time to train because of Eastenders and then I lost all interest. Sorry not sorry but what's the point of you then? Get in the bin.

Kaye ridiculously undermarked, far more Charleston content than Tony's, and those lifts were impressive for her age. Timing improved markedly from her Corporal Jones impression in the launch show too. Then again, she was overmarked last week so I guess it evens out.

Thought I'd like Tony's more, but just nah at most of the choreography. Poor Katya with that roll over the back move, second time she's fallen off. Never try it again, it's cursed.

Jayde better than I was expecting after last week wasn't great. Loved the drama, choreography etc. Costumes were a bit eh, but not bad.

Dunno what the judges were raving about with Tyler's. I dunno exactly why, but something about the choreography just didn't work for me. Kinda hated the whole thing actually.

lol, sorry Helen, still haven't seen you, might take several more rewatches to tear my eyes away from Gorka!

I think it was already mentioned but Nadiya’s pro photo outfit is Rose’s samba outfit with the fringe removed. It’s really smart to reuse them. They are both so toned and tiny though as that outfit has nowhere to hide!

Ya I always thought he was a d!ck… the waffling on twatter expecting it in 5 etc and as soon as Monaogg posted he had it 30 seconds later😂 She got some awful abuse at times bless her no wonder she quit… not surprised by spoiler result

When I read this article, I thought about Helen - it’s obvs not the same but a bereavement isn’t a million miles away from your marriage breaking up (especially if it’s a shock, and your husband’s bit on the side is Zippy 😔)…but I’m thinking now that Matt maybe isn’t ready to loosen up and throw himself into what may be just what he needs.

I was all for thinking he was just a bit odd and he’d relax but I’m now not sure what’s happening. And nobody wants to see someone struggling.

I looked on that FB group this morning and they had initially said it was Ellie and JoJo who had gone, but that it was unconfirmed. Then it was just was said here yesterday - someone was saying that was who was eliminated and when her post was deleted she called the Mods dictators 😂. The drama!

I would have too. If its not based on the dance off itself, I'm am hugely disappointed.

I am a bit sad for Kaye - that's twice in a row the oldest female has gone first. I feel like this year production is really setting up some couples and it shows in the judges' WTF feedback. I am delighted my lovely Hamza is still in though - we will protect him at all costs.

Unless something went wrong for Kaye and Kai and/or Matt really nailed it, I’m shocked. On the dances last night I think Matt should definitely have gone.

Honestly, I think this series could do with some excitement! Whether it's the curse or something else. So far, everyone is nice, with the exception of Matt being weird, and I haven't managed to invest in anyone yet (though am sure that will come).
I looked at James' instagram and saw his wife is a mummy influencer or whatever - talking about 'honest motherhood' with her perfect boys, beachy waves, and fabulous house. So that is him on my 'can go' list.

He appeared too defensive. Yeah, I get he was disappointed - but not sure it was with himself or just that the dance didn't go over anywhere near as well as the jive and he came off as a bit hostile.
